Pelletier On 3 separate dates in 1972, people witnessed the Sun “dancing” in the skies of Garabandal. On May 24, 1972, June 8, 1972, and October 3, 1972. May 24, 1972 - “This happening is mentioned in the “NEEDLES” (Fall 1972 issue pg.24). The magazine quotes Marita Foley as follows: “On Wednesday May 24, while some 40 of our group were gathered together after the recitation of the rosary, the Salve Regina and other prayers, under the Pines, someone exclaimed “ Look at the Sun !, Look at the Sun ! “ We did so. And to our amazement the sun was spinning in a clock wise direction. ( The event took place at 6:30pm and lasted about a half an hour ).

Personally, I believe that the Punishment is the end of the world and of time. According to St. Matthew, on the day of Christ's death, many saints rose from their graves and appeared to be seen by the multitude. The Romans who were still there shouted: Truly this was the Son of God! On the contrary, during the Punishment, the damned will rise from their graves and will be nothing more than demons. I don't think it's about fleeing, but rather asking for mercy. What else can we do? There will be those who don't recognize Christ surrounded by angels. That will be the proud. They will not change and will remain the same.

There is no end because we are eternal, but the end of time sounds like the reign of Christ. I remind you that: Millenarianism, understood as the belief in a physical reign of Christ on earth for a thousand years before the final judgment, has been specifically rejected by the Catholic Church in all its forms, both in its crude and mitigated versions. This doctrine, which is based on a literal interpretation of Revelation 20:1-5, has been condemned by the Church because it represents a falsification of the future Kingdom, since messianic hope cannot be realized within historical time, but beyond it, through eschatological judgment. The Church has especially rejected millenarianism when it presents itself in the political form of a secularized messianism, describing it as "intrinsically perverse." The true Catholic interpretation is that the "thousand years" mentioned in Revelation should not be understood as a literal period of a thousand years, but as a long and indefinite period of time.
The church teaches that we are currently in the 1000 year reign of Christ. If a person believes this, then they also believe that the beast and the false prophet are already in the lake of fire. As the binding of Satan in the abyss happens after the beast and false prophet are thrown into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:10 And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Revelation 19:20 And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who did the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone.
The Catholic Church does not accept Millenarianism. I don't know what other false churches will do. There was a time long ago when Christians were thrown to the lions, and a modern time when the same Christians believed themselves to be gods and decided that sin was good for them. The world, the devil, and the flesh have always accompanied Man. This is no joke. The battle against evil is real and fierce. We can feel it constantly in our lives. It is so enormous that the Son of God had to come here to offer Himself as the Perfect Sacrifice.
How can the devil currently be accompanying man if he is chained in the abyss since we are in the thousand year reign of Christ? Sincere question. I have been seeking answers to this. No one has given me an answer.
I don't quite understand you. The devil, as interpreted in Revelation 12, dragged a third of the stars and threw them to Earth; that is, Lucifer took a third of the angels from heaven, and they all came to Earth. In the Sorrowful Mysteries (for those who pray the rosary), the two principal sins appear: 1. Lust, for which Christ accepted being scourged. 2. Pride, for which He accepted being crowned with thorns.
Christ is perfect God and perfect man. Two natures in one divine and human person. At 33, He accepted sacrifice without having committed any sin and after having mercifully loved mankind. In that place, they gambled his robe and nailed that young and perfect body to the cross. They exposed him as only devils know how. Christ suffered all the pains of the world and left us a very clear message. It is better to die like this, without giving in to evil, because the life I have prepared for you is eternal and wonderful. He is Lamb and Shepherd. "Do not be afraid, I have overcome the world," said our Lord.
