Good day beautiful souls, My wife's mother is going through shoulder replacement surgery Monday and her childhood friend (my wife's God Mother) is going through surgery to remove a cancerous tumor on the same day. Please add them to your prayers. God Bless
I would like to tell you a little more about them. My mother in-law is the sweetest and holiest lady. I don't think there is a mean bone in her. She's very involved in the church and takes turns chaperoning at the adoration chapel. I'm not sure she's ever missed a day of obligation since I've known her. My wife's godmother is very high energy but she has devoted her life to physical therapy for disabled kids and goes on those mission trips around the world to try and help the poor. Two women I really look up too.
Prayers for both women. But it sounds as though God is already very close to them. Having good health is a great blessing. One thing I notice about the foreigners who are retired and live round here is how very, very ill so many of them are. Whole lists of illnesses/ poor people/
An update: My mother in-law's procedure went very well, and she is currently recovering and in good spirits. She still has a ways to go with PT, but things are looking up. My wife's God Mother's procedure went well also. They were able to remove the mass and so far things are looking good too, but they have a little more testing to do.
