I ask for your prayers. Geralyn and I will be down to see our general practitioner in East Syracuse today but already presume he will order an immediate brain scan. It appears I suffered a brief stoke in the middle of proclaiming the Gospel yesterday during the words: "He rose, took the child and his mother...". It lasted for only about 10 seconds. I was able to recover and finish the Gospel and proceed as if nothing happened. But I had friends and Geralyn who tell me it was an obvious delay. I'm confident it is not life-threatening nor do there appear to be any immediate long-term affects, but...Ger and I will know more by this evening (5pm GMT -10 hrs.) Thanks!

Well, thank you all, your prayers ware really effective. We were about to hop in the car, when the doctor's office called back, clarified the time sequence was very brief regarding my being spaced out, there were no apparent residual effects, and my activity today was normal. So life shall go on; if I keel over later today, I am confident I am spiritually prepared. Besides, we had a wonderful visit with Fr. Benjamin. Fr. Patrick and our youngest, Danny, are arriving soon for a 4-day visit. So life is great and Our Lady's Mantle is over us no matter what!
