Well, I'm not questioning any of the above viewpoints. Our calling as Catholics remains: You shall love your neighbor as yourself!
Well this was quite the interesting watch. I also don't know what to think of it. But it does seem to confirm that the stuff everyone is suspecting is happening is, in fact, happening. I just wish there were more details.
Thank you very much! I think your prayers are having some impact, the snow has been delayed for a few hours (at least where I am).
I'm home finally! Roads were mostly dry. Praying you all are ok through the storm. We're supposed to get snow from that system starting overnight but nothing like in the US.. keep us posted!
Thanks for all the prayers, Prayer Warriors. Need them. I will update after awhile. It starts tonight in Maryland around midnight into Sunday morning. We went to Vigil Mass. PTL
I feel its all over the place on forecast. Weather.com is saying fir my area 16 inches but just seeing thus now on accuweather. This I can deal with! hoping these guys have right model
Well we got a bunch more rain and ice and now it's snowing. It's 26 degrees and absolutely beautiful, white and sparkly everywhere. We don't get this often in TX, so it is such a treat! Sadly, more people keep losing power and my husband told me that as he drove to work, he saw that a main freeway was closed due to 57(!) accidents at that time. The ice will be very thick by morning. My trees sound like they're made of glass.
Letter of Padre Pio to his Spiritual Daughter, Margherita Tresca during the Spanish Flu epidemic of 1918, which killed some 50 million people: 'Suffer, but do so in a resigned manner. Because suffering is not willed by God if not for His Glory and for your good. Suffer, but do not fear because suffering is not a punishment from God, but a portion of love that wants to make you similiar to His Son. Suffer, but believe also that Jesus Himself suffers in you and for you and with you and is associating you in His Passion as a victim for your brothers what is still lacking in the Passion of Jesus Christ'.
Sleeting hard right now at noon in Maryland. We have about 5 inches of snow with sleet on top. Lots of wind. Power still on Thank God.
It's been lightly snowing here all day. My kids and I have been sledding and having the best time. Thanks be to God, the power is still on and I've only had to thaw out the septic sprinklers a few times
That’s about what we have too. Everyone was really concerned that this was going to be truly terrible.
