There is a great, great blessing in all this. Evil is coming right out in the open and staring us in face, right out in the open.

I know my own sheep and my own know me rings more true than ever it did. Bad sheep will follow bad shepherds to hell. How could it be otherwise.

The good sheep will dig their heels in and say, no this is wrong.

Our Lady was right. The rosary is the great remedy for our times. Only say the rosary and you will never, ever be lost.

ALERT — Pope Leo XIV is reportedly ready to EXCOMMUNICATE the Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX) if it proceeds with the episcopal consecrations scheduled for July 1st, 2026.

A decree, modeled after the one issued by John Paul II in 1988, is reportedly already prepared, qualifying the act as "SCHISMATIC" and resulting in excommunication. (Rorate Caeli)

I agree that the German bishops are far more troubling than the Society.

It's sad that I don't remember having any members from Germany on the forum to say, "Hey, we still have a small Catholic remnant here." Of course, there must be at least a small portion of Catholics left in the country of Joseph Ratzinger, but they are often overshadowed by the apostasy of much of the episcopate and many of the laity.

It’s against Canon Law to consecrate bishops without permission from the Pope. They are excommunicating themselves.

It is a great sadness to me that it is happening. But as someone else said perhaps the Vatican could extend the same rigorous standards to the German bishops who are also gravely disobedient.(n)

There are quite a few Germans who read the forum and I think at least two Germans post though they do not advertise that they are in German.

There is at least one good Catholic Cardinal and I suppose a few good Bishops, a Faithful Remnant. People forget that at the time of the Protestant Rebellion Germany came a hairs breath close to becoming Protestant. Catholic clergy up to and including Archbishops became Protestant enmass.

We seem to be doing an even worse repeat. It was the Jesuits saved things last time round. This time the Jesuits are worse than anyone else.

    From Totus Tuus page:

"In a beautiful initiative for world peace, the Vatican has announced a Global Rosary for Peace to be held on Saturday, May 30.

Coordinated by the Dicastery for Evangelization, the central event will take place at the Lourdes Grotto in the Vatican Gardens, where Pope Leo XIV will lead the Rosary together with the faithful. Catholics around the world are invited to join in unity—either in person at local parishes, in families, or in prayer groups—to pray the Rosary for peace in our troubled world.

This powerful call comes amid ongoing conflicts and global tensions, reminding us of the powerful intercession of Our Lady and the importance of turning to God in prayer.

As Pope Leo XIV continues to urge the Church to pray for peace, this global event offers a wonderful opportunity for believers everywhere to unite their hearts with the Successor of Peter.

    How to Participate:
Join the Rosary at the Vatican (live on EWTN and Vatican Media)
Pray in your local church or at home
Invite family and friends to pray together

Let us respond generously to this call and entrust the world to the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of Peace.

“Grant us peace, O Lord, in our days.”
