May 28, 1965 Conchita’s letter sent to Joey Lomangino.

"The world is always carrying on the same way, if not worse. Few
paid attention to the Message (the first one, October 18, 1961). My
Son will have to give another one, and this will be the last one.
After June 18 (1965) and before the Miracle, there will come a
"disaster" from heaven, it will be an "Aviso" for the world to amend
its ways. If, with this trial and the Miracle, Humanity does not
change, the Chastisement will fall on us and the end of the times will
also come. The "disaster," as she told me, is horrible, the kind we
deserve. The Blessed Virgin also told me that we must not grieve over
the material sufferings of the "chastisement" that we ourselves will
have brought about because of our sins committed against her Son.
These are the last (warnings), and we must derive benefit from
them. She told me again that the world believes there is a Heaven and
a hell, but we do not think that we will have to go to the one or the
other. Humanity thinks only about the present life "

The patience of God is amazing, but I also know there are sinful areas in my spiritual life that I've grown accustom to minimizing:rolleyes:. Best deal with them now and not wait until after the Warning.

I love you Jesus. Help me love You until it hurts.

"These are the last warnings" (the adviso and the miracle)
Seems like it should read these (will be) the last warnings. Because when it reads these are the last warnings it sounds like the message given of the adviso and the miracle are the last warnings and not the actual events

She is not saying the Chastisement is a "warning", that is a RESULT of an unrepentant humanity. The last 2 "warnings" are the 2 events THE WARNING & THE MIRACLE.

Jacinta Points Out the Priest’s Presence.

Among the people who went up one day with us to Garabandal was a Military Air Force Chaplain. He was wearing only the insignias of his rank of Captain and he asked the priests present not to tell the girls that he was also a priest. His desire was carefully respected. That night Jacinta fell into ecstasy and the pastor, Father Valentín, as was his custom, asked her how many priests were present. The girl gave the correct number of those in cassocks and added, “And one of those who go by plane. This is his name.” Returning home with us at 4 o’clock in the morning, the chaplain could not stop telling me of his astonishment and emotions.

I was asked: “Why 8 days notice before the Miracle ? “

Mary never revealed exactly why she chose that number of days at Garabandal, but the number 8 is very significant in my opinion, and it is used 73 times in the Bible. It is the symbol of Resurrection and Regeneration.
In Bible numerology, 8 it denotes new beginning. Maybe that is why Mary remarked there would be the “end of the times”, denoting a “new time” or new era, would begin with the Warning and Miracle. We have another chance to live as God wants us to, (as he has shown us the error of our ways in the Warning), a new beginning.

"Thy Kingdom come Thy Will be done, on earth AS it is in Heaven",
sounds like a reference to the "Our Father" prayer to me.

Conchita raises a Scapular for St. Michael to kiss.

In ecstasy, Conchita raises toward the Vision, the Scapular of a Brother of the order of St. John of God. The Garabandal Visionaries manifested great respect for the Religious who visited the Village. During the years of the apparitions, the Visionaries could always identify a priest. Even if he was in lay clothes and concealed his identity in other ways as well. In giving the girls this ability to recognize priests, Our Lady called attention to the Church’s belief concerning the sacramental “Character of the Priesthood, the indelible “mark” that the priest receives in ordination.

June is the month dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Jesus actually appeared to visionary Jacinta Gonzalez at the end of June (29TH) ,before the Blessed Mother started to appear to all the girls at Garabandal in July.

Jesus gives these twelve promises for those who are devoted to His Sacred Heart.
    1. I will give them all the graces necessary for their state of life.
    2. I will establish peace in their families.
    3. I will console them in all their troubles.
    4. They shall find in My Heart an assured refuge during life and especially at the hour of their death.
    5. I will pour abundant blessings on all their undertakings.
    6. Sinners shall find in My Heart the source of an infinite ocean of mercy.
    7. Tepid souls shall become fervent.
    8. Fervent souls shall speedily rise to great perfection.
    9. I will bless the homes where an image of My Heart shall be exposed and honored.
    10. I will give to priests the power of touching the most hardened hearts.
    11. Those who propagate this devotion shall have their names written in My Heart, never to be effaced.
    12. The all-powerful love of My Heart will grant to all those who shall receive Communion on the First Friday of nine consecutive months the grace of final repentance; they shall not die under my displeasure, nor without receiving their Sacraments; My heart shall be their assured refuge at that last hour. The Vision of the Sacred Heart, Interview with Father Benac
    (Part 1)

On December 23, 1978, Jacinta was interviewed by the Jesuit missionary Father Francisco Benac at his home in California. Here are some excerpts from this conversation:

Father Benac: I have read some articles in which you report that you have seen the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Please tell me how it all happened.
Jacinta: I remember that this happened on a day in which the four of us climbed a little higher above the zone of the "calleja", that is, above where the Angel had appeared to us for the first time. No one, a girl from our village, followed us on that day too. Suddenly, the other three fell into ecstasy and the Angel came. At that moment I was behind, and I saw them in ecstasy, and I said, "But I see nothing." Suddenly I saw the Sacred Heart of Jesus that impressed me greatly. He did not tell me, however, His gaze came to the deepest place in my heart.
Father Benac: What impressed you most?
Jacinta: His eyes, all his appearance, his eyes that arrived well inside my heart in an inexplicable way.
Father Benac: What did you think at that moment?
Jacinta: Oh, Father, this vision of the Heart of Jesus has been etched for ever, though I have never seen Him again. Whenever I remember His vision, I feel that infinite Love that came to my heart that day

On December 23, 1978, Jacinta was interviewed by the Jesuit missionary Father Francisco Benac at his home in California. Here are some excerpts from this conversation:

Father Benac: Has this vision led you to love God more? Do you think He wanted something special from you?
Jacinta: I can not answer that because He did not tell me. However I feel my heart much closer to Him from that moment on.
Jacinta: I remember that this happened on a day in which the four of us climbed a little higher above the zone of the "calleja", that is, above where the Angel had appeared to us for the first time. Father Benac: Do you still feel it?
Jacinta: Oh yes! Whenever I see His image or speak of Him, as I do now, I feel Him within me in a way that I can not explain.

    UNTANGLED ROSARIES

Another interesting miraculous phenomenon was the returning of rosaries. Now that people started to believe the Blessed Mother was actually appearing at Garabandal, they came in the hundreds, and thousands, they would bring their rosaries and medals to be kissed by her. They were all piled on a table for the girls to offer up to her.
Entangled when presented by the girls to be venerated by the Blessed Mother, rosaries, medals, and multitude of objects would incredibly untangle smoothly when being returned to their owners. Even without any pre-established order.

The Garabandal visionaries also never errored in returning each object to its proper owner, and never actually had to look for the owner, Mary led them to the owner while gazing upward at her.

This story is mentioned in these books “ Garabandal”, by J. Serre, pages 50-54

The girls eyes do not blink in ecstasy.
“When in ecstasy, light falling on their eyes does not cause them to blink. This can be appreciated in a film taken under bright arc-lights which made no impression on the visionaries at all. But, on emerging from their trance, they could be seen to react immediately, shielding their eyes from the unbearable glare.”

    • Its also been recorded that Doctors threw sand in the girls eyes, to tried to make them blink while in ecstasy, but were unsuccessful. BLINKING.jpg

Did our Blessed Mother ever appear sad to the girls ?

In February 1975, in an interview with members of the "GARABANDAL" Magazine staff, Conchita was asked if the Blessed Virgin ever looked sad or if she Conchita could ever picture Our Lady crying. The Visionary replied that Our Lady never looked sad but always joyful, that her face seemed to be smiling even when she wasn't smiling. Conchita said that she and the other girls would not have been able to stand to see the Blessed Virgin cry.
When asked if our lady's teeth could be seen when she smiled, Conchita answered yes. We also asked about her voice, whether it was high or low, however Conchita didn't fully understand the question. But in her usual concise way she said that the Blessed Virgin talked, just as we're talking now.

“Everything you do becomes a sacrifice.”
    By Joey Lomangino

By reciting the beautiful Morning Offering daily we can fulfill our Lady’s request in her Garabandal message that we make many sacrifices and do much penance. The more faithful we are to our state in life, the more meritorious our day is before God, and Our Lady will take all of these merits and offer them to the Eternal Father in reparation for sins.

My Brothers and Sisters, I often think of how many graces are being lost every day in hospitals and homes for the aged, that are literally factories of conversion, because they are unaware of the value of the Morning Offering. How many mothers, fathers and young adults who are good people, do not say their Morning Offering and how many graces are slipping by them through the day? How about the children who go off to school and Nuns and Priests who do not promote the Morning Offering?
Everyone should know that through the Morning Offering we give the Graces we receive to Jesus Through Mary and thus we obtain the conversion of sinners, free Souls from purgatory and strengthen our church.
Begin now, pray and promote the Morning Offering everywhere in the world, starting in your own home first.
    Joey Lomangino

    “GARABANDAL“ magazine, January-March, 1979 , page 4

    Morning Offering Prayer.
“ O Jesus, through the Immaculate heart of Mary, and in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass being offered throughout the world, I offer you all my prayers, works, joys and sufferings of this day in reparation for the offenses committed against the Immaculate heart of Mary, for my sins, and the sins of the whole world. “

CONCHITA ON LIVING AND SPREADING THE MESSAGE

“ The Virgin wants you to help her in converting the world, and to evade the anger of God upon us, sinners. She relies upon you, so that by your example and sacrifice, you will serve as an example to others…who have not had the graces you have had in understanding her messages. She asks you to have a great spirit of repentance, sacrifice and prayer.
Without these weapons, we could do nothing. We have not much time, but it is sufficient to escape the great Chastisement, and to satisfy the Sacred Heart of Our Mother. “

Simon González, Jacinta's father (on girls receiving Communion and Confession)

"I went for the first time. I had read a little bit about what ecstasies are, but it’s one thing to read it on paper, and it’s quite another to actually see it… It brought me to tears. It took place in the calleja. I was especially touched when the Angel gave them communion. Jacinta came and told us that the Angel gave them Communion. They told us about it, and we could see that the Angel would start at one side of the line of the four girls and end on the other side. Each girl put out her tongue and yes, we could see each girl swallow the Host. Once we saw that the Angel didn’t give Jacinta Communion. Apparently, she had quarreled with her mother. The next day, I was working in the fields and I asked, “Where is Jacinta?” I was told that she had left. She had heard the church-bells ring for Mass, and she went to go to confession. When she got to the Church, Father Valentín was already celebrating Mass. After Mass, she went to confession and that afternoon my wife and I spoke, and we said, “Let’s see if the Angel gives her Communion, now that she has gone to confession.” We looked closely and yes, he did give her communion. Sometimes the Angel didn’t give communion to the other girls as well. As for my daughter, I think the reason he didn’t give her communion was because of her disobedience to her mother. So he didn’t give her communion until she went to confession." Simon Gonzalez.jpg

    “All my children”

The Blessed Mother says to Conchita: “Conchita, I do not come for you alone, but for all my Children, with the desire to bring them closer to our hearts”
From : Garabandal: Message of Hope”. Fr. Jose Luis Saavedra, pg. 174

During the course of the Garabandal apparitions, it was observed that one of the Seers, in ecstasy, offered the “kissed crucifix” to a non-Catholic. The witnesses were surprised to see this and when the apparition was over, asked the child about it. During the next apparition, the visionary questioned the Blessed Virgin as to why she had been directed to give the crucifix to a Protestant. Our Lady simply replied, “ Because they are all my children”.
