What I found incredibly interesting is that the articles I read were very respectfully written. They were not making fun of Rossetti for his belief, and there seemed to be no noticeable slant. I couldn't tell what side the author of the articles was on...which is, of course, how news articles should be, but is not how they've been for a long time. It just makes me wonder what the true agenda is. If the mainstream media is comfortable with the idea that aliens could be demonic, that leads me to believe that the ultimate agenda may be to reveal that very idea eventually...perhaps because the ultimate goal is to trick humanity into believing the demons aren't really the bad guys and will help us if we serve them.
Interesting background info on aliens and UFOs. It reminds me of what Johnathan Khan said about a portal having been opened and the 'gods' coming back.

Just my opinion… I think that in His unfathomable wisdom, God has decreed that humans and other intelligent beings whom He created should not communicate with one another, let alone visit other abodes in this vast universe. Perhaps He allowed some contact in ancient times, but not anymore. Who knows? With our fallen nature, we earthlings have enough problems to deal with on our planet. In Medjugorje, when Marija reportedly asked Our Lady about life on other planets, she answered, "This does not concern you." Padre Pio also allegedly affirmed the existence of other beings, adding that humans were (and are) the most sinful. The great deception conceived and now being unleashed by fallen angels is another matter altogether…
I wrote to the Padre Pio center and asked if that quote attributed to Padre Pio about aliens is true or verifiable, and they said no.
Thank you for the clarification. By the way, Geralyn's and my excursion to Sealy, TX, for 8 days was most enjoyable. My son, Chris, and his bride, Chellie, are expecting their 5th.
"Did Padre Pio Affirm the Existence of Aliens? Q. Someone told me that St. Pio of Pietrelcina (Padre Pio) once affirmed the existence of intelligent life on other planets. Is this true? A. According to the late Msgr. Corrado Balducci (1923–2008), a member of the Vatican Curia and long-time exorcist for the Archdiocese of Rome, St. Pio (feast day this week, September 23) did in fact affirm the existence of extraterrestrial intelligence. In a paper entitled “Ufology and Theological Clarifications,” presented at Pescara, Italy, in 2001, the Monsignor reported: “The following dialogue is documented and officially published by the Capuchin Order: “Question: Father, some claim that there are creatures of God on other planets, too. “Answer: What else? Do you think they don’t exist and that God’s omnipotence is limited to this small planet Earth? What else? Do you think there are no other beings who love the Lord?" https://www.stcatherinercc.org/sing...f-aliens#:~:text=Did Padre Pio,love the Lord?
The source of this information does not come directly from the Capuchin order as claimed. The source of the informatio is Don Nello Castello's book, Così parlò Padre Pio, Vicenza, Italy, 1974). The book was written in 1974, well after the death of Padre Pio. It falls under the category of oral history because it was written from the memory of the author and cannot be taken as a direct quote from Padre Pio.
Yes I just read Msgr. Balducci's entire paper translated into English, and while he made the statement that the quote was published by the Capuchins, he did not provide any reference that I could find. I've run into this so many times--people claiming a source for information but not providing the source, or when I look up the supposed source, it's not actually there--that I don't trust dubious claims until I've read the original source material.
