There is another thread for Blessed Alexandrina da Costa but perhaps some aren't aware of her or that there is an Alexandrina Society in Ireland.
It was originally started in Cavan in the 1980s by a man called Francis Reynolds. His wife Sheila became the co-ordinator when he passed away. I think Sheila retired to Scotland after some years and the Irish Society is now maintained by a woman in Co. Longford, Mrs. Ursula Coppinger.
I had a look online and found her number.
I was in touch with Ursula recently and she kindly sent on some prayers cards, newsletters and booklets on Alexandrina.
One of the newsletters was ftom about 10 years ago and had a wonderful account of Alexandrina's intercession in the miraculous healing of a baby in Co. Limerick, who was still in the womb.
The account is written by the Priest who blessed the anxious mother with a relic of Blessed Alexandrina and witnessed the extraordinary healing effect.
This 'miracle' has been forwarded to Rome as part of the Cause for Alexandrina's Canonisation.
The account is also included in one of the booklets which Ursula sent to me. 'Alexandrina da Costa - Victim Soul' by Damien Philpott.
I scanned the pages yesterday and posted them on the other thread earlier.
I'll include them here too if you'd be interested to read the story of Baby Isabel's healing.

I came to Knock this evening and will attend the Bl. Alexandrina Mass in the Parish Chapel tomorrow afternoon. I haven't been to Knock before and wanted to spend some time in the Shrine grounds and the various Churches and Chapels here. Something I'd seen photos of and was keen to see up close was the Apparition Mosaic in the Basilica. It's really wonderful to see firsthand. A plaque beside it notes that there are over 1.5 million individual pieces of glass and marble used to create it. Amazing and beautiful piece of creative work.
Looking forward to tomorrow and meeting some people from the Blessed Alexandrina Society in person.
