Yes. I see that the Cenacalo community is currently cleaning her statue and there are many people around her praying. It also looks like they caught the perpetrator. I do wonder the significance of this happening now. Has anything like this happened in Medjugorje before?
That was my first thought as well! Im sad this happened but all things are under the Providence of God. I agree this is a great sign on the holiness of Medjugorie and who knows maybe this will inspire more people to come and lead to its full approval. Why would satan care about a place if it were not fruitful? And Our Lady's message from just a few days ago is even more clear in light of this act (bold my emphasis): "Dear children! While darkness and peacelessness rule in many hearts, you, little children, be prayer and my extended hands of love. Little children, place the Sacred Scripture in a visible place in your family and read it, so that it may be an encouragement for you to conversion and a new life; because Satan is strong and seduces hearts.
