I agree. I am appalled and devastated by this as are many many Americans. This more than anything shows me the poisonous fruit of the legalizing of abortion. We are ready and ripe for chastisement. Poor deranged afflicted women in that crowd supporting that mother. Whose eyes have a demonic coldness although Fr Carlos Martins (an exorcist)says he sees no apparent t evidence of demonic involvement.(n)
This is the culture of death writ large.

The most chilling picture that I saw relating to this trial was of several pink-clad witches doing strangling postures with their raised hands, a pure celebration of the most vile (an anagram of ‘evil’) kind of murder conceivable.

I believe this obscenity will ultimately backfire upon feminism. If a woman can be absolved even of this, because of her emotions, how, in logic, can any woman be entrusted with any responsibility whatsoever?

How can this behaviour not be demonic? Man fell, but not to the depths, pace Luther, of total depravity. There is something else going on, reminiscent of the many stories of satanic connection with abortion and its perpetrators.

I have heard of some men ending relationships and even cancelling weddings because their women expressed support for Clancy.

This case is proof that modern Psychiatry is a bogus science.

Christ didn’t do counselling…He cast out demons. No psychiatrist has demonstrated a chemical or biological cause for the vast majority of mental illnesses; could it be, perchance, that they are all spiritual sicknesses?

I believe a lot of it is due to sinful lifestyles and unconfessed sin leading to demonic oppression and infestation

The trial was an abomination. Massachusetts never departs from it's extreme liberal agenda. Lindsay Clancy has money behind her, she resided in the wealthy community of Duxbury, MA that is the epicenter of "woke". No surprise that local women rushed to her defense and created a pink shirt cheerleading squad that quickly transformed the murderer into a victim. They likely support a culture of death, our governor just signed a bill to allow abortion through the ninth month. All of this is the consequence of total disrespect for life. I do believe there had to be dark and evil forces around this woman for her to commit such a horrific crime. Spiritual warfare is real, I hope and pray that Lindsay will someday be open to receiving spiritual help and she finds a path to conversion. My heart goes out to the lone juror who stood his ground. He was berated and intimidated by the defense attorney, and no doubt suffered greatly in that jury room. I pray that no harm comes to him. I agree that this could backfire on feminism, their emotional behavior certainly diminished their credibility.

Obedience to a Pope , Religious and Secular authorities can be a tricky path to tread at times, most especially so when those powers are pretty well evil and depraved and corrupt (m I include the Church in this) at the moment.

As the time of St Paul it was much the same for the Secular Powers.. Rome was a total cesspit. But St Paul in Acts underlined the importance of Catholic obedience.

    Romans 13

    Submission to Governing Authorities
13 Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2 Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. 3 For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended. 4 For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. 5 Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience.

6 This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing. 7 Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.

This obedience to the Pope, as Vicar of Christ in Catholic Tradition is even more striking .

    I. THE HIERARCHICAL CONSTITUTION OF THE CHURCH
    * The teaching office

Divine assistance is also given to the successors of the apostles, teaching in communion with the successor of Peter, and, in a particular way, to the bishop of Rome, pastor of the whole Church, when, without arriving at an infallible definition and without pronouncing in a "definitive manner," they propose in the exercise of the ordinary Magisterium a teaching that leads to better understanding of Revelation in matters of faith and morals. To this ordinary teaching the faithful "are to adhere to it with religious assent"422 which, though distinct from the assent of faith, is nonetheless an extension of it.

This obedience to Rome and our Spiritual Fathers is of course required not only when they are good and holy but as at the present time they tend to be very evil.

Of course the ultimate arbiter is our conscience . If we are required to do something evil of give our consent we must not do so, even if ordered to do so by Rome and Secular powers. A good example of where Catholics are correct to be disobedient to both Rome, the Pope and the Secular powers at the moment is Communist China. Pope Leo and Francis have handed over power to a false Communist, 'Patriotic Church'. Catholics should resist this and many are doing so.

However I suspect many Catholics are misinterpreting this , 'Holy disobedience' and are treating the Pope and Rome as though he were the leader of some political party. The current disobedience of the SSPX is a very good example.

On the other hand their is the False Obedience of people who think they must follow any evil if told to do so. This False Obedience too is a Great Evil.

The whole thing is a minefield at the moment. Someone wrote that even great saints would be confused at the present times.

But what can any of us do but follow our consciences?

It is the same with the Evil , Depraved , Satanic Secular powers in control of the World. A time of great upheaval, civil wars and uprisings in almost upon us.

I would encourage Catholics not to take to the gun but to pray. Unless perhaps in Self Defense.

This is why St Paul in Acts encouraged obedience to the Secular powers. The important thing is that we should save our souls, not going round shooting people.

    Matthew 26:52
Then said Jesus unto him, “Put up again thy sword into his place, for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.

Given mankinds general revolt (not just the revolt of the Jews) - we must be close to these events. The secrets of various visionaries must be due in the coming months, very shortly anyways....

I always wondered what the sign of Jonah was? I now understand it to be another prophecy by Jesus of His death and Resurrection - and specifically His 3 days in the Tomb. Just as Jonah spent 3 days in the belly of the whale before being spat out alive. Not sure if this is the accepted interpretation of this passage or if this is simply Christian Exegesis 101.
