Reflecting on the first Joyful mystery God's fiat was enough to create a universe out of nothing to bring in to existence that which was nought. Our Lady's yes had cosmic and eternal cosequences. In a sense there were two births. Christ was born first in the heart of Mary when she gave her free consent. Our Lady's fiat brought the infinite and eternal God into her womb. The Logos became flesh in her. He whom the universe could not contain was contained in a womb. A prisoner of love in the womb of a Virgin. Her yes, her fiat was so great that we measure time by it for there was a time before Christ and a time after. Never underestimate power of our fiat when we say yes to God.
