Thanks Padraig. I couldn't upload the file from my Mac. Maybe we will all meet in Garabandal one day. I hope so, maybe even on the day of the Great Miracle.

To be 100% accurate we only know that Conchita gave the date of the miracle to Cardinal Ottaviani, the Pope's right hand man, and to the Pope's confessor. It has been presumed that this information was intended for the Pope. After this, Conchita had a personal meeting with Pope Paul and as far as I know is still sworn to secrecy over its content. Just thought I should clear this up. I would imagine the only reason Conchita told the Cardinal was obedience. She has kept this confidence all her life and will reveal the date of the miracle to the rest of us 8 days before it, as instructed by Our Holy Mother. All that having been said I have now read that Conchita says in her diary that Pope Paul knew the date. The only reference I found for that was page 164 of her diary in the Dutch version.

I remember my trip to Lourdes. For me there was a great feeling of calmness, peace, reverence. I have no-doubt of the authenticity of Lourdes.. no-doubt. I remember being plunged into the holy baths naked.. I was a little embarrassed as I was unsure this was proper etiquette, but I was assured before hand this was normal practice.

I was completely dry after stepping out and did not need a towel. Ah, I wanted to stay there such was my longing and desire for the warmest of heaven on earth. Truly bliss!

    God bless!

All very familiar. Great memories. The water was so cold but so good and as you say, dry in a flash. Thanks SoT.

Dear Joe, thank you for taking the time to share that amazing story of Garabandal. What I remember most were two impossibly tall, thin 'black robes', gliding down from the pines.

I was in Japan during the 101 days Our Lady cried, but living on the South island, studying in a private catholic school, and I heard not a word about it till much much later, on a different continent, with no means to return.

You are welcome Misericordia. It sounds like there may be a story or two in you. I look forward to hearing them. Tell me more about the thin black robes.

'Black Robes', are an old native american term for Jesuits, there is a pretty good movie of that name about the ones who settled near old Montreal in Quebec, Canada.
So in Garabandal I saw a couple of them walking down from the Pines, and it was a little bit eerie, like something out of time.
Japan was something else. At the shrine at Nagasaki, people who lost limbs or worse in the blast and ensuing radiation line the streets in white robes, squatting at the edge of the path through the city. They spat on me and I don't blame them.
So, we have black robes and white robes you see.
I read your bit on Akita, can you tell us more?
