I just received a call from a very close friend who let me know she is going in early tomorrow for explorative surgery...of sorts. There is a very large ( they termed it huge ) fibroid tumor that's causing many problems. They don't know what they can do at this point but are talking a blood transfusion for certain. She's a little panic, understandably. I'm asking for your prayers for a successful surgery but also that with this she's given insight to her life, especially the spiritual. She's a fallen away Catholic. You prayed for her husband who had prostrate cancer about a year ago, they have had quite a year. Thank you in advance, I know your hearts are open and I so appreciate it. Gail
Tim, her husband is doing very very well. He was sure that the candles that I lit for him in Italy healed him! I explained the candles weren't the healers and that God in His Great Providence was. Just a few weeks ago in prayer I received a word of knowledge concerning Tim and his cancer and the word was that he has been completely healed. God is so good in His Mercy. I think the prayers of this Forum are exceptionally powerful and Our Lady loves it when we join forces. My friend Jenny was assured that she would need a transfusion during the surgery, she didn't. The doctor was certain going in that she would. They were able to remove 2/3 of the tumor and sent her home! This is unheard of. My head is just spinning. She is so thankful and wanted me to tell you how much she appreciated it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. This is just incredible news. Again, many many thanks, Gail
I pray for continued healing for her. I'm glad that she was able to go home. I'd like to ask for prayers also. My neice is being assessed for a heart defect. She is only 12 and has had to stop dancing which she loves until further notice. Please pray for good results and smart doctors. Thanks, Kath
