Elston,8 yrs old, the son of a friend, went in for heart surgery yesterday. They repaired a valve, but the repair failed quickly and he was rushed in again last evening. His survival doesn't look promising. Please offer prayers to Our Lady for help. Thank you, Gail
This is the update on Elston, thank you so much for the vigilant prayers. Wow... he is on the respirator still and heavily medicated but seems to be okay. We wait and pray that the bovine tissue took, and keep him sedated so he doesn't put too much pressure on his heart. His parents haven't met Jesus yet, so send one up for them too.
When I'm walking the roads later tonight, I will pray earnestly for Elston and his family. I'm glad you feel free enough to share your burdens with us, Lee. Safe in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary!
Thank you all so much for prayers that you offered! As of today, Elston is out of ICU, he's cracking jokes again and wants to eat and visit with his friends. The chances of this outcome were extremely slim without your help. The power of unified prayer is great,thank you so very much. Gail
You know I'm really pondering what happened. My friend called in the 11th hour, she's protestant, Elston's parents are non-believers and the child's future with the family didn't look promising at all. They already had prayer warriors working,and had been for days, but it was when we unleashed the prayers in union that things changed. What a testimony of faith. Amen indeed! Gail
