I am scheduled to be induced to deliver our fifth child tomorrow and would greatly appreciate any prayers for safety for the baby and me, as well as for an easy delivery. It seems as though the older I get, the more nervous I become. St. Bernard (whose feast day is tomorrow) pray for me!
Another rosary for you. May God keep you and your child safe and strong and well and with God's blessing may your delivery be quick and easy.

I again want to thank all the selfless people that prayed for our safety during childbirth last week. A few hours after our precious, baby boy was born, I had what the doctors call a post partum hemorrhage. I was rushed into two different emergency surgeries before they could stop the blood loss. I required a transfusion because I lost 30% of my blood. The whole thing was quite scary and surreal, but I can tell that God's hand protected me. The doctors and nurses told me later about how surprised they were that I had lost so much blood, but maintained normal blood pressure, pulse,etc throughout the surgeries. I got the impression that they were unsure whether or not I'd survive due to the amount of blood loss. Five days later, I'm still recovering. I know that the prayers of my family, friends, and fellow members of the MOG forum had built up a storehouse of graces for me. So, thank God and again, thank you all!! I am living proof that one never fully knows the power of a prayer and the effect that prayer will have on another person. The evil one tries to convince us otherwise, but our prayers are powerful! As the Blessed Virgin says "pray, pray, pray". As times continue to get tougher for all of us, I hope that we all continue to recognize the importance of prayer in our lives and in the lives of our neighbors. Prayer is literally our lifeline. Praise The Lord for answered prayers and for the precious gift of life!
Praise God you have come through. Yes the power of prayer is amazing. Congratulations to you and your family on the birth of your beautiful baby and I pray for a quick recovery for you.
