Another theory: Perhaps Conchita merely confused two unusual names St. Tarcisus and St. Tiberius. Seems like an easy mistake to make.
I don't think I need to answer the rhetorical questions but the rest are legitimate questions. But God did say that He would spare Sodom if 10 good men were found in it. I was thinking also of this passage in St. Faustina's diary (537): Each sister will have a separate cell, but life will be communal as regards prayer, meals and recreation. Each nun, after her profession, (13) will no longer see the world, even through a grill, as this will be covered with a dark cloth, and even the conversations will be strictly limited. She will be as if dead, not understood by the world and not understanding the world. She is to stand between heaven and earth, begging God constantly for mercy on the world and that priests be empowered so that their words be not empty and that they, in their extraordinary dignity and so exposed to risks, might keep themselves completely stainless. Though these souls will not be numerous, they will be heroic souls. There will be no room for cowardly or effeminate souls. Given that there must be many such souls past and present who plead for mercy, it is not beyond the bounds of possibility that mercy has been obtained for the world and that there will be no chastisement. Perhaps as you say a warning is necessary? Or the Lord could say as in scripture - is it possible that they did not hear it? [The Gospel] Indeed they did! Or indeed the Lord could blame many, myself included, for not spreading the Gospel. A warning would indeed be merciful. But if, Heaven forbid, the Lord were to call Conchita early before any warning where would that leave us?
InVertitatem, you refer to Sodom and the 10 good men. What happened at Sodom? Lot and his family escaped. Everyone else was destroyed. So, use that example to understand the "conditionality" of the coming Chastisement. It is conditional for each person. Those who deserve to escape (in God's eyes), will escape. But the overwhelming majority will not escape. Why? Because they don't want to escape anything. They like it just where they are. The Warning will wake some people up. Billions of people at first. But after a very short time, most of those people who converted at the Warning will go back to their old ways. This is who the Chastisement is for: people who willfully reject the known truth, the truth revealed from Heaven at the Warning. And for those who say the Warning is not found in Catholic tradition, look at the Dies Irae. Consider the words closely. It is about the Warning (the Day of Judgement) that precedes the Second Coming (the Day of Retribution):
March 19, 2020 CONCHITA’S PANDEMIC MESSAGE I asked Conchita if she would be kind enough to offer some words of advice to all of us, in this troubling times. Here are her own words given to me on this date. - Glenn Hudson "God is detaching us from the securities of this world. In the silence of the Church or in our house, we are now able to make an examination of conscience so we can clean what prevents us from hearing the Voice of God clearly. With sincerity we can ask God to tell us what He wants of us today, and continue to do that every day. And spend as much time as possible with God at church or somewhere in your home or where you find the silence. He is all we need." Conchita Gonzalez Keena
I dont think its St Tiberius either for two reasons. 1. His feast day is August 11 . 2nd, he was a man (not a boy or teen) as the story tells.
Lets start with the first contention that the world might not need the "Warning" . No serious Christian can look at the state of this morally corupt world and say we are fine and repentant in the eyes of God. Get serious ! Abortion alone is enough for a condemnation of this world. Second , " with God ,all things are possible".. Conchita's life ,while a wonderful example of how to live, is not necessary for God to bring the Warning or the Miracle. She only can provide a date for the Miracle, thats all, and quite frankly , it wont be hard to figure out the date of the Miracle once the Warning happens. This is God's last of Mercy. Not only will it happen no matter who lives or dies, but it is needed for the salvation of humanity.
Couldn't we say that Saul ( St. Paul ) experienced his own " warning"and conversion on the road to Damascus ?
Absolutely, and he is an example of what will be expected of the "Two Witnesses" in the end times. St. Paul was "raptured" to the Third Heaven and infused with divine wisdom. He was then given the mission to convert the "gentiles," those outside the true faith. Similarly, the Warning and its aftermath will be the opportunity for men of good will but not yet pure (like the 144,000) to prove themselves to God by converting tepid souls before the end of the 3.5 years.
Yes in theory, it is possible. But I don’t think it’s at all likely. We need to pray every day (and I myself fail in this) that the world will be converted by the Warning and the Miracle so we may all be spared the Chastisement.
It is clear the world needs an exorcism as evil reigns. The warning and miracle are the last great acts of mercy.
In the Roman Catholic calendar in effect in 1963 the feast day for Sts. Tiburtius, Valerian, and Maximus, Martyrs was April 14, not August 11. This would qualify as being between April 8 and April 16, would it not? Additionally, you tell us above that ““The Miracle will be on the feastday of a young martyr of the Eucharist.” Note, not a boy, or a teen, but a YOUNG male. 20 years old would certainly qualify, would it not? Based on the above, St. Tiberius still seems to qualify as the young male martyr of the Eucharist who’s feast day fell on April 14 in 1963.
I think you might be on to something here. Tiburtius could be described as a martyr of the Eucharist. He chose to walk over hot coals rather than BURN INCENSE to false gods. He chose torture rather than commit sacrilege against his beloved Eucharist, the True God. Here is his story: https://catholicharboroffaithandmorals.com/Sts. Tiburtius and Susanna.html Tiburtius, a son of the Roman prefect Chromatius, received holy baptism at the same time as his father, and not only endeavored to lead a Christian life, but also to bring others to the knowledge of the true faith. One day, while he was walking through the street, a boy fell from the roof of a house to the pavement, and was so injured that it was thought that every moment would be his last. Tiburtius going towards him, made the sign of the cross over him, and commanded him, in the name of Jesus Christ, to rise, and to abandon heathenism. The boy immediately arose, became a Christian, and persuaded many who had witnessed the miracle to do likewise. At another time Tiburtius went to a youth named Torquatus, who, although baptized and calling himself a Christian, did not conduct himself according to the dictates of the church. His dress was too luxurious; he spent too much time in idleness, gaming, dancing, and other amusements; he was unrestrained and licentious in his conversation and conduct. He was seldom at prayer, but frequently in dangerous company. Tiburtius exhorted him most earnestly to change his unchristian behavior. Torquatus feigned a determination to follow his advice, but secretly went to the judge Fabian, and revealed to him that Tiburtius was a Christian. This he did in revenge for the reproofs which Tiburtius had given him. But, that he might not be known as the accuser, he requested to be arraigned with Tiburtius. When this had taken place, the judge asked Torquatus who he was. "I am a Christian," was his reply, "and this man Tiburtius has converted me to the true faith." But Tiburtius said: "I have never recognized you as a Christian; for, your life has not been that of a Christian. To dress luxuriously, not to observe the fast days, to be indifferent to your prayers, to pass the day in idleness, to associate with the other sex, to be licentious in your words, are not the characteristics of a Christian. Christ does not recognize such as His followers." Fabian would not listen to these reproofs, but, having the ground strewn with hot coals, he said to the saint: "You have your choice either to throw incense over these coals, and thus offer to the gods, or to walk barefoot over them." Tiburtius, without a moment's hesitation, took off his shoes, and courageously stepping upon the coals, walked up and down over them, without a sign of pain. Addressing the judge, he said: "See and know, that the God of the Christians is the only God, whom all creatures obey. Your live coals seem to me but lovely flowers." The judge, highly incensed, exclaimed: "I knew long since that your Christ instructed his followers in magic. I shall, however, pay no attention to it." The holy martyr rebuked this blasphemy, and as Fabian saw that the heathens began to admire the God of the Christians, he ordered him to be beheaded, thus bestowing upon him the crown of martyrdom
I disagree. You site no source for your quote, whereas I do. “The Miracle will be on the feastday of a young martyr of the Eucharist, a boy who carried Communion to persecuted Christians. His companions, on seeing him pass by, wanted to force him to stay and take part in their games. Infuriated by his resistance, they ended up hurling stones at him until he was left almost dead. Later a Christian soldier came, who recognized him and carried him in his arms.” “ She Went in Haste to the Mountain” Book 3,Chapter 7, pg 146
CONCHITA ON LIVING AND SPREADING THE MESSAGE (part 3) “ The Virgin wants you to help her in converting the world, and to evade the anger of God upon us, sinners. She relies upon you, so that by your example and sacrifice, you will serve as an example to others…who have not had the graces you have had in understanding her messages. She asks you to have a great spirit of repentance, sacrifice and prayer. Without these weapons, we could do nothing. We have not much time, but it is sufficient to escape the great Chastisement, and to satisfy the Sacred Heart of Our Mother. “ “Needles “ magazine May 1971 page 2
But Glenn is saying that the description of the "young martyr" in that source text is a perfect description of St. Tarcisius. It is not the description of St. Tiburtius, as you are suggesting. Therefore, the source you are using supports Glenn's thesis, not yours.
Our Lady's 1st Message of Garabandal :October 18, 1961. " We must make many sacrifices, perform much penance, and visit the Blessed Sacrament frequently. But first, we must lead good lives. If we do not, a chastisement will befall us. The cup is already filling up, and if we do not change, a very great chastisement will come upon us." Photo: The note written and signed by the girls.
JACINTA Interview April 16, 1983 Interview with Jacinta conducted by Barry Hanratty April 16,1983 for the “ GARABANDAL” magazine. Q. When the Warning comes it will be seen and felt by everyone on earth. Does this include little children who have not yet reached the age of reason? A. Yes. That's why we felt sorry for them because it was such a terrifying experience. From the “GARABANDAL” MAGAZINE APRIL-JUNE 1983
