The past few weeks have been tough .. feeling sorry for myself and quite anxious. It’s coming up soon on 6 months since our accident. While I see so many blessings and I know God has been with us on this journey, it is still in my human weakness hard at times. This reflection offered me much consolation. I grateful that the Holy Spirit directed me to this. I hope it may help others who are suffering at this time. Mike you are on a journey that has been a true Calvary. Of course you will have weak moments. Don't be hard on yourself. You are in my eyes heroic the way you have handled this excruciating cross. I'm sure many on the forum agree. Praying for you today.

Thank you but all glory goes to Jesus who has walked well reslly carried us during this journey. I know because of this cross God loves my wife and I beyond measure. We take one step forward and a couple back sometimes. You have been through so much and of course you are experiencing normal emotions. What matters most is your trust in God...we cannot be 100 percent all the time and neither could the Saints, so please be patient with yourself...God's time... My prayers for you and yours mike.
Praying for you. I feel the same. It hurts my heart you have to go thru whatever sufferings you may have. God is with us thru it all, even if we don't feel His presence, sometimes. May Mama Mary wrap you up in Her Mantle - Her maternal care, comfort you, dry your tears, the only way a Mother can.
I never grow tired of reading this passage from St.Paul which was in today’s Morning offering. It is a comfort to know that in our sufferings , failures, our moments where we are at rock bottom when united to Christ we are at our strongest because He is carrying us. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 I shall be very happy to make my weaknesses my special boast so that the power of Christ may stay over me, and that is why I am quite content with my weaknesses, and with insults, hardships, persecutions, and the agonies I go through for Christ’s sake. For it is when I am weak that I am strong.

Thank you for prayers. She is moving forward day by day. She is a fighter. It will take some time but she had great faith and trust. She’s uniting it all to the Cross.
