This is interesting. There has been a good deal of talk over on X about a meeting between Pope Leo and David Axelrod. The private audience with Pope Leo XIV and Axelrod occurred on April 9, 2026, per Vatican records and reports from CBS, USA Today, and others. It was arranged via standard papal channels for high-profile figures. Axelrod's role as Obama's longtime strategist and Chicago ties with the Pope appear to be the basis—no prior papal meetings noted for him. People are questioning this meeting, and expressing their concerns considering Obama's history of interference with the Trump administration.
Trump’s election, at least to me, from a divine perspective is becoming more and more evident. By that I do not mean that God chose Trump, I mean that it was done by elites from Epstein’s documents who sponsored him, but that God allowed his election so that He, as God, might be glorified. Namely, in a certain spiritual and symbolic sense there are parallels between Trump and Jesus, I am speaking about the rhetoric of speech. Jesus comes at a time when Palestine, that is Israel, in the Roman era was occupied by the Romans, people paid taxes to Caesar, and as we know many of the disciples were rebellious insurgents who were waiting for the Messiah who would free them from the occupier, oppression and suffering, and not only that, Jesus comes to build something new, he gives a new life, a new hope, a new meaning and a new beginning. Trump appears as a candidate in 2015 after the world had already been wrapped up by bureaucratic politicians who had dragged the country into wars in the Middle East, by the LGBT movement, by attacks on what is traditional, historical and culturally significant to Western civilization, he promises and offers a new hope, Make America Great Again, where what is truly good, noble and old will return. Many people placed their hope in him, believed in his word, believed in his ideas and indeed many saw him as a savior of the United States, of Western Christian civilization and of the world, who would bring peace, prosperity and progress to America and others. What happened, we got wars, a man who commits crimes in front of the eyes of the world, protects a pedophile network of the powerful, bows to elites, constantly and quite often lies, we got a person full of pride and arrogance who openly thinks he can do whatever he wants. Not only does he do the opposite of what he promised, but he has also attacked those who call him out for these wrongdoings, as even the Pope himself has. At first I thought that Trump had caused a great scandal, he led a large number of people to believe in something good, true and worth fighting for and then showed the opposite, causing great disappointment and making people lose all hope. That did happen, but as with everything in God, the cross becomes victory. People lost and disappointed in politics turned to God and to Catholicism, not just Christianity but specifically the Catholic Church. Look at the large number of conversions, look at Candace Owens and many other strong political conservatives who have become converts, they entered the battle as political commentators and defenders of politics and came out as believers. Look at how many Protestants cannot reconcile the events in Gaza and Iran, Trump’s self presentation as God, and are searching for that Truth that does not disappoint and that represents true good. The Catholic Church has done nothing new except that it has continued to witness the Truth of the faith and that faith is not subject to political or worldly ideologies but to the teaching of Christ. That is why it is attractive especially today in this disappointment with politics, Trump and many earthly things in which people placed their hope. God has shown that our salvation comes from Him, no earthly saviors can fulfill that role and we often end up empty and disappointed when we place such ho pes.
