Pretzels Created In Middle Ages By German Monks

    Neither did I Agnes. To be honest, I thought they were a Jewish creation.
    Years ago, part of the area of Dublin I grew up in was known as Little Jerusalem. There was a shop around there called the Pretzel Bakery, which is probably what gave me that idea.

    My favourite are hot cross buns . They are always lovely all year. But I remember one time I made me own to an old recipe and they were gorgeous, far different than from the bakery.
