I have been very impressed by the author and artist Michael D. O'Brien - have a look at his website which is dedicated to re-building Catholic culture: http://studiobrien.com/site/index.php Seems to me he is a powerful prophetic voice for our age.
My favorite author. Except for Sophia House, I've read all of Michael O'Brien's novels. That isn't easily done since they are not the type of book you breeze through and they are usually 800-plus pages. He develops a multi-layered plot coupled with fascinating character development. Though his genre is mostly apocalyptic, I think people who are not focused on that theme could still thoroughly enjoy Michael's novels. They are certainly challenging! A solid Catholic husband and father! Safe in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary!
