Thank you, Padraig. Some of my closest union with Christ comes through tears and beautiful hymns. I am delivered to the feet of Our Jesus.

Sadly Carol these are the times we are in. For anyone to object to prayer and fasting that God's Will be done boggles the mind.

I am praying but the fasting part is hard. I'm targeting tomorrow for no meat and an internet fast. It will be hard not to get on line. I'm praying for the strength to do it.

Eward Pentin's address to the Catholic Identity Conference two years ago is really worth listening to. Before there was any mention of an Amazonian Synod, Pentin describes how we got to where we are now. It's all about replacing God with man. If even half of what he reports about the goings on in the Vatican is true, it's a style of governance worthy of Stalin, Hitler or the East German Stasi. What we have are self-styled Catholic intelligentsia replacing the teachings of St. Thomas Aquinas with that of Hegel, the "Protestant Aquinas". Edward Pentin's style is one of balanced journalism by a faithful Catholic trying so hard to give the benefit of every doubt to Pope Francis. You only have to contrast his style with that of the likes of Austin Iveragh or Fr. Antonio Spadaro for an example of how Christ's Church has been dragged right down into the sewer in a matter of only 6 years.

Sigh. I am afraid this confirms my very worst fears. I am afraid that the Vatican has indeed fallen to Satan.

I was listening to Fulton Sheen this morning in his famous talk, 'The Devil and the Diabolic'. One thing he said was so striking and Prophetic. He said that within the next 100 years the anti Christ would come and his Spirit would be political.

This is mentioned in the Book of the Apocalypse, the Beast with Ten Heads that would emerge from the Sea. Well the sea it emerges from is the Sea of Politics.

Edward Pentin mentions this, how political Pope Francis and his friends always are:

    Revelation 13:1

    The Beast from the Sea
1Then I saw a beast with ten horns and seven heads rising out of the sea. There were ten royal crowns on its horns and blasphemous names on its heads. 2The beast I saw was like a leopard, with the feet of a bear and the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave the beast his power and throne and great authority.

One of the visionaries at Medugorje was asked what the ten secrets of Our Lady were. She replied that she did not know why people asked; that they are all contained in Chapter 13 of the Apocalypse.

If you protect evil...you are evil! Those that protect evil men or evil acts must be removed from church.

Today it’s time for prayer and fasting...but there might be a time in the future (Viva Christo Rey).

    :( :)

I could be wrong, Padraig, but I'm fairly sure I recall Frances Hogan saying that "the sea" in Biblical terms often meant the Gentiles. Given that Jesus grafted us onto the vine, I suppose that in today's terms it would mean the non-believing or secular world. I suppose that politics would fit the description.

Raymond Arroyo's latest World Over programme was very interesting. All three guests were very interesting. It's worth watching just for Damien Thompson comments abut the upcoming Synod. I couldn't agree more with him especially his comments about "Team Francis" distracting attention from the chaos in the Vatican and the de facto German schism. Both Pentin and Thompson link the Germans' influence to their financial clout and points out that about half the Vatican's finances come from American Catholics. Pentin says that Cardinal Kasper drafted the Pope's July letter warning the German Bishops to not go down the path they have taken. I find that rather odd considering that Cardinal Kasper wasn't one of the three German Bishops who disagreed with the Marx plan.

Raymond quoted something from Jesuit Fr. Thomas Reese criticising "conservatives" who aren't on board with the current direction of the Church. This January 2018 article in Catholic World Report should throw some light on what Fr. Reese is about: https://www.catholicworldreport.com...otic-irrational-battle-with-greek-philosophy/

Looking at the type of Jesuits shouting loudest in their defence of this Protestant-style reformation currently being imposed on the Church, especially settled Church teaching, it's hard not to connect them with Podesta's Catholic Spring. Could there be a more perfect storm to strike the Church than the dream Pope of perverted clerics and modernist Jesuits?

I am happy to report I spent all Friday in an internet fast. God's grace for sure. And as is my custom on Friday no meat. Next I am trying g for Wednesday and Friday. So far managing an extra Rosary for Cardinal Burke's intentions and Mass too. A few weeks ago at Adoration I thought that Jesus was asking me directly "Are you all in?" It was a little strange because I never use that expression. (Makes me think of MSNBC yuck) but there it was. "Are you all in?" And I knew He meant my commitment to Him. (A sense that is about to become a very pressing question)And then Cardinal
Burke called for this 40 day fast and prayer. And I realized He was asking me (humorously) a very serious question. So now I tell Him I am definitely "all in" if He will give me the grace. Honestly it is a minute to minute thing these days.

Dolours check out Ross Douthot's article on line in American Conservative. Bree A Dail has the link on her twitter feed. Powerful and disturbing account that utterly refutes the head Jesuit's claim that there is no devil, only a symbol. Really worth reading.

I couldn't find the article. Ross Douthat writes for the New York Times. I don't think he writes for the American Conservative. I saw references by AC columnists to some of Douthat's NWT columns but I didn't find anything about his column refuting what Fr. Sosa said about Satan. I also looked at Bree A Dail's twitter page and didn't see the link there. I did read this piece by Rod Dreher which she linked to on her twitter feed: https://www.theamericanconservative.com/dreher/devils-of-manhattan/ . Scary stuff. Scarier still was the tweet where she quoting someone saying that Jeffrey Sachs has been inivited to the Synod. I'm wondering whether there will be any believing Catholics at that Synod. Looks like Jeffrey Sachs is the only god likely to be considered worthy of worship at that gathering. It has zero to do with spreading the faith in the Amazon. Those indigenous people are being exploited by people whose only agenda is destroying the Catholic Church. Tragically, it looks like the Pope is the leader of the wrecking crew.

I did come across this interview with Ross Douthat about his book "To Change the Church". I might buy that book. The interview was eighteen months ago and Douthat said then that there was more to come (after Amoris Laetitia) from the Germans. How right he was. After listening to that interview and his assessment of what this Pope is about (continuing the "spirit" of Vatican 11), I'm coming to the conclusion that Vatican 11 was a mistake. I'm also finding it ever more difficult to believe that Francis is a valid Pope. We're in real trouble when a New York Times columnist is more Catholic than the Pope. Here's a link to the interview:

Cardinal Rainer Maria Wolke of Cologne,

'...all those inside and outside the Church who so vehemently push for changes have not answered one question; why are Protestant Christians in Germany not flourishing? They have implemented all that is being demanded. Yet they are not in a better position?
