Saintly Fulton Sheen said: "During the Tre Ore sermon which he preached on Good Friday some years ago, Fulton J. Sheen asked his audience: "If Jesus Christ thirsted for souls, must not a Christian also thirst? If He came to cast fire on the earth, must not a Christian be enkindled? Has he not called us to be His apostles and His ambassadors, in order that His Incarnation might be prolonged through the continued dispensation of the divine through the human?" He answered his own question by declaring that, "A Catholic who does not strive to spread his Faith is a parasite on the life of the Church."[1]" https://www.ewtn.com/catholicism/li...-j-sheen---author-orator-and-missionary-13684 Do you think Catholics are sufficiently focused on Evangelism and Missionary Work today?
If all religions are a path to God what would be the point of Evangelisation? What would be the point of even being a Catholic, for if all religions are true then by definition no religion is true since they contradict each other? This is what has castrated Catholic Missionary effort in Modern times. The Church no longer believes in what she once preached.
To me the best way to evangelize is through example and brining Jesus and the Church into everyday life, not preaching on street corners or going door to door.
Yes, there are a great many focused on this currently and it is picking up speed. Especially among the youth and it is happening organically. The internet has become the greatest evangelization tool of all time.
