Update We have passed Day 11. We are feeling better but extremely weak. We are sleeping most of the time. Thank God no breathing problems. I know it was God answering your prayers.
Thanks be to God. I think that ten days may be a milestone with Omicron. Just heard that one of my grandnieces has it. Couldn't go home for Christmas for fear of infecting her parents. They're all vaccinated but parents are high risk. She has been very ill. Sore throat, bad cough and extreme tiredness. Like you, she couldn't get an appointment for testing but the DIY test was positive. I know they say that Omicron is milder but it doesn't seem to be mild for the people suffering symptoms. Will keep up the prayers for you both. Please keep us informed of your progress.

Dear friends, sorry I have been away from the forum, but my poor husband has been very ill, I thank you all for your prayers, I know they have helped because today he has started to feel better and was able to move around. I am ok, except for cold symptoms. I am also praying for all of you, this is a wonderful prayer community.

That's a great idea. My daughter phoned me yesterday to ask for a protocol for her friends family who are all ill. I had to do a lot of searching to get info. A thread dedicated to treatments would be very helpful.

Yes and in many places this is technically correct - but not because the patients have had no injections but because of the ever-moving goal post of what constitutes being fully covered. People who have had 2 shots who fall ill afterwards are technically considered not injected when the law changes to impose another shot. Hence, hospitals can claim patients to be not covered, which is legally or technically accurate, but is deliberately misleading to everyone. I saw a doctor yesterday who told me the situation is insane in hospitals and that everyone he has seen hospitalized has had 2 injections. The medical staff sees it but aren't speaking out or the younger ones are still fully drinking the cool aid, so may or may not wake up some day. Others may have pointed this out already on the forum but I can't keep up with all posts and it's worth repeating.
Very interesting. Here they are saying its the unvaxxed. Media and medical people both. I've said for awhile that I think we are all in this together now--vaxed and unvaxed. Thats what makes these mandates so counterintuitive. And discriminatory.
Hi all, Just getting the time now to check in, I'm glad to see that all here seem to be improving thank God. My wife has improved considerably and the children are all in good spirits. It has been a rough exhausting journey for sure, oh yes forgot I am fine too if I can share anything in relation to this nasty virus the biggest issue is the fear factor it is destroying the world for sure. I can only share how I dealt with it and it has been the same across my entire family so that's at least 20 people vaxed and unvaxed. My remedy was. Prostrate before God and his Holy Mother and humbly ask for help and protection. At first incline of symptoms clear airways, spray clear saline into the nostrils and drink a hot drink of lemon honey ginger and cayenne pepper . Paracetamol 500mg x2 and ibuprofen 200mg x2 4 times a day vitamin d x4 zinc x2 and magnesium x2 neem supplements x4 I also introduced for my wife an inhaler they were dry inhalers bricynal one puff when required and budesonide 2 puffs twice daily Oxygen I got a small 15l cylinder which came with a mask the above two helped my wife considerably as her cough was horrendous. Thanks to Maria (whatever) her supplies which I did not need to use certainly helped with my mental state. just knowing they were in the cupboard put my mind at ease.. The tiredness is also debilitating so rest is a must.. I am now in this two weeks and it certainly looks like it is a slow recovery.. I hope this helps. God Bless you all John.
