I've been thinking about going to BC's March for Life in Victoria, all of which using my own money. I'm growing more and more confident, that this would greatly help me improve with each passing day. And today I received an email from Campaign Life Coalition revealing just uncomfortable the Leftist establishment and Canada is getting from progress the Pro-Life Movement is making in Canada, which really encourages me: I'm now thinking of going there with a sing that reads: "A change, will do you good now." So please pray I can make this happen, if this is part of God's will for me.
I am thinking about attending this year too. There is an organized bus trip at one of our Churches that goes to Victoria for the March for Life. You may have one in your area too.
That's awesome RW! Doesn't look like I'm going to make it over to Victoria this time, so let us know how it all goes! And God Bless you for attending.
I think it is great to stand up for life, very courageous. Few people do it and they risk their reputation and even their jobs, I admire them. I hope you are not going to show the sign you mentioned asking people to change. We have to change ourselves, especially regarding purity
I had a good time there, had quite a few inspiring and encouraging moments. I’ll go into details on them later, right now I am busy with a few things at the moment.
It is great to hear you went there and had a good time. I admire that as I've never made it to a March for Life in our capital, only participated in prayers and vigils in front of abortion clinics. You get feedback from people passing, good and bad. The signs we have show embryos or statements such as "love for mother AND child". There can be some abuse from people so I always worry a bit. Feedback was that we've actually helped as pregnant women turned to reach out for support. So you have accomplished something, because these actions do have an effect. God bless you and your work
Sorry it took me so long to post, I was really busy this past week. I met and heard from a lot of good people at the March, including some people from the CHP. I have been thinking becoming a supporter of the CHP for sometime now, -being the idealist that I am- but unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any CHP candidates in my region right now, at least, no federal candidates. I'm planning on becoming more involved in my local pro-life groups, I have the phone number for someone involve in recruiting pro-life volunteers, I plan on contacting her sometime next week.
