Is that what Charlie has said or it is that your interpretation? Either way it is quite vague in detail.
Oh my, I hope not... I do think most of us are wrong if we assume there will be some kind of quick turn around in a year or two. My biggest fear is that things will linger like this for a decade or two. I hadn't even considered a centuries long Chastisement
I still think we may see some Divine intervention in the next year or two. If Pope Benedict dies and nothing has happened, I promise to give up on all my hunches. I still see him tied to the third secret.
My "hunch" is that things will begin this year. Don't know how much of a guess that is though. They seem to have started already. We will see what we will see. If the year sails by without incident I will be quite surprised...and confused. It won't be the first time though I am learning more and more not to try to figure things out too much. Whatever happens I think we will be surprised by the way it occurs. In any case whenever things do start to get really bad we will all have had more than enough warning to get our souls and our houses in order.
The main point is that we don't, and can't, know. It could happen today. Regardless, we all face our own personal 'apocalypse'. That should be enough to concentrate our minds.
As to a centuries long chastisement, I wonder if God would permit this. I'm comforted by the words of John Paul II when discussing the Third Reich. He said that the 'bestial' regime was not permitted by heaven to continue beyond twelve years. Of course that was a long time, but not a lifetime.
Charlie's interview with focus is now available to watch. He asks for prayers at the end and I think regardless of one's position on him he should be in all our thoughts and prayers at what must be a very confusing time for him.
God bless Charlie! What would YOU do if you had the same experience as Charlie and thought the Lord asked YOU to put your butt on the line and warn people? No he isn't perfect, but who is? He did his best and I for one am very proud of him.
I think if we are reading the signs correctly a rescue may begin in the fall. A rescue of the church and a rescue of non-believers & sinners.
I also feel sure something will happen this year. With the Womam Clothed With the Sun star sign, the Fatima anniversary and all the other signs. As Jesus said, we don't know the day or the hour but we can read the signs.
You are of course correct. We should be ever vigilant and ready for our end whenever it might come. Any one of us could face an accident tomorrow and die so in a way the "end times" are always with all of us.
It cannot be centuries if we continue to shed the blood of the innocents by the millions. God is just. In His nature He could not allow such a holocaust to continue indefinitely.
I think it would be wise to take any alleged message with much prayer and fasting in silence. Stay humble and keep from drawing attention to oneself. It is very odd, to say the least, to see any alleged messenger on blogs arguing endlessly what they feel they have received. This to me is a red flag.
I hear this term 'rescue' all the time. Yet, there is no specifics to what this means. Rescue from what? It is a term coined by Charlie, but with no definition. If someone can give some specificity to this term, please do so. It is so vague now that it could mean anything.
Charlie did an interview with Focus TV yesterday. He tried to argue that "a false prophet isn't the same thing as a wrong prophet". He also made hints at a comeback. I think this was absolutely the wrong thing to do on Focus TV's part. Charlie's credibility is gone. They gave him a platform to, in Fatima's words, "draw attention to himself" one last (?) time. This piece of propaganda for Charlie coming so soon after the double fail of a prophecy attributed to the Archangel Gabriel was troubling. I'm going to write to Focus TV after I finish typing this message.
For the church, a rescue from continuing to create confusion and for the people a rescue from eternal damnation. I never was a "follower" of CJ, so I am not certain what he meant by a rescue but I find the timing of what he was told to be interesting. This is of course, as I stated, if I (we) are correct in recognizing the sign of the Woman Clothed with the Sun.
I think it is possible he heard a word from God and misinterpreted it. He is proud and at times even arrogant and this is something that would leave a person lacking in discernment, in my opinion. Then on top of that the constant ravings about politics and I don't really know. When I would read those diatribes I would think, he is no prophet he is just hired to sway opinion on the internet like many, many people are. He also kept coming back to that Russia is our friend, which in this election and other recent European elections raised a red flag to me. So all these things tended to make me think he was a fraud, but once in a while, ironically when he talked about discernment of spirits, I felt like this is a man who knew from experience something about the topic. So we can't know. It is possible he did hear from God but the devil threw a few wrenches at him to confuse him, get him angry and send him on a tangent that not only caused him to be cruel to people online, but also boastful, and overly political, and lacking in discernment, but at the start he was told something. His pride may have gotten in the way of him questioning his own presumptions about what he was told. Imagine if Conchita got wrapped up in such pride and had a blog where she ranted away about her presumptions, what might happen say, after Joey died. But she avoided all such drama by remaining humble. If she fell for the temptation to pride like Charlie did, would that mean she never heard from Mary? It would really have nothing to do with whether or not she saw the Blessed Mother.
