During the exposure of the massive and global priestly child abuse scandal one common theme caught my attention. Former child victims and relatives of priestly child abuse were assured that their pressing on towards the truth could only harm the Church. By pressing on for the prosecution of offenders they would , it was said only offend against God . After all priests are the apple of God's Eye, God's Annointed and as may supposed mystics pointed out those who in any way 'Attacked' Gods priests were in effect attacking God Himself , in effect committing grave sin. A similiar argument was used by Bishops Cardinals and many in the Vatican itself for a cover up. They argued that a cover up was important to shield and defend the Church. This moral threat and argument worked. Serial sex molesting priests were moved by Cardinals, Bishops and Religious Superiors from Parish to Parish , Diocese to Diocese , country to country and so the destruction of thousands of innocent lives continued because these were , 'The Lord's Annointed' and the Church needed to be , 'defended'. I hear similiar arguments at the moment concerning the Vatican and Pope Francis. He is, 'The Lord Annointed'. To criticise him to to , 'Attack the Church'. We must be quiet. We must not investigate. We must be obedient by staying silent. In other words the very same arguments used to permit child abusing priests to continue their child molesting and the Hierarchy to continue their self serving cover up are not being used to to propagate a simliar cover up about what Pope Francis and his cronies are up to in Rome as they effectively dismantle the Catholic Church brick by brick Well I did not believe God wanted a cover up about sex abuse back them and I don't believe God wants a cover up to massive Apostasy and Heresy right now. Its a funny kind of God who would want child abusers and heretics to carry on their operations. A funny kind of God that would want us to stay silent in the face of huge evil
