Hi everyone, I’ve renewed my Marian Consecration this Feast of the Immaculate Conception and here in BC, they’ve cancelled Christmas and are preparing the “pokey” as Steve Cunningham calls it. Both the cancellation of Christmas and the fact that I have no washing machine here, (due to the fact that my washing machine broke down several months because, frankly, it’s a piece of junk) means that I’ll probably be spending most of the winter at my parents’ place. As most of you know, I’ve been praying for years for conversion of my parents and my brother. This time, with me preparing for months for what’s coming down the pipe, and today’s renewal of my Marian Consecration; I’m hoping to go in really hard, with the help of the Holy Ghost, and try and Evangelize them or at the very least, wake them up to the Great Reset agenda. (Although even that will be difficult, my mom seems to be really attached to the Narrative.) Please pray for both them and me.
Hi RW. My two cents; It is my experience that when one tries to convince someone of something in a full on kind of way, that someone tends to pull back, recoil because their belief system is under threat. The person doing the convincing is called every name under the sun ie; conspiracy nut, alt righter, tinfoil hat etc Why not go for a more subtle approach? Leave a youtube video playing on your laptop, maybe leave a leaflet on the coffee table (if you have a leaflet) leave titbits of information in the air when chatting about things, something that spikes an interest. Just chip away little by little. Because you want a harmonious Christmas with your loving family, you don't need to foster resentment or argument seeing as you'll all be cooked up in the same house for the duration. A small bit of sensitivity and perspective is needed here RW. You're in my 'Hour of Grace's prayers today.
Right! Listen to grimisocks. And we must keep our lamps lit and let our light shine. Let our example speak volumes.
Hi RW, well done on doing the consecration, it’s a lovely day to choose! On the subject of you evangelising your family. No doubt the Lord has heard your prayers of intercession for them, but perhaps he may have plans for another person to actually get through to them. You have naturally discerned where they are at spiritually. But they also have discerned you, and perhaps may be more than a little apprehensive of you coming to spend Christmas with them. Our family relationships can be very complex and one needs to have a really good rapport to be able to have any kind of meaningful conversation with them. They know which buttons to press, and which not. I tried for years to convert my family using many means. The only times I ever seemed to get anywhere was when I shut up, and prayed to their guardian angels to get them to ask me a question. In that moment they were open to an answer. All I needed to do was give a brief answer. It took me a long time to learn this. Hope this helps.
I believe in these times God has placed or left one person in families to be the prayer warrior, praying for the salvation of the souls of the rest of the family. RW, it appears you are the soul chosen in your family to petition Heaven to save their souls. Pray for them, love them, and leave the rest to God. If you are a happy cheerful kind person, loving your family as they are, they will be impressed with the joy your faith has brought you, and that will influence them more than anything you could say. Let your life be the Gospel that reaches them, not your words. God bless you and your family.
Thanks everyone, I will work on this. Can everyone please pray especially for my brother? The FDA itself says that these vaccines can cause heart problems and my brother has a heart condition. The more I think about it, the more I think my brother stands to have the most lose from living outside of the Faith, in general; he has his whole life ahead of him, he could very easily waste it all. I think the best fruit I was able to produce for my parents after reverting was treating him better, I was a bad big brother to him before reverting; please pray for him, his name is Eric.
Jesus repeated to Faustina that things asked for in honor of His Passion through the DM image, DM hour and DM chaplet would be granted as long as they are in line with His Will. I have prayed many times for similar conversions of family. Now my job is to Trust in Jesus that He will do what is best, when it's best to do so. I know He will convert them but it would be foolish for me to expect how or when. Conversion could be right at death for some we just can't see as God see but I am certain His Divine Mercy will save those closest to our hearts. Don't push to hard, if the convo starts and flows without anger or resentment run with it, otherwise just enjoy being with your parents. You are lucky to have them. The example of how you live, the things you do like going to mass, confession etc speak the loudest. Tell them what your faith is doing for you and just tell them you pray for them. As for the great reset, well things like this can cause more fear and anxiety for certain people and not be helpful at all. Especially if they don't have faith. tread lightly. God bless.
I'm discerning showing this video to my mom or whole family sometime in the future: https://www.bitchute.com/video/Hmxo720ccw4V/ But not for a very longtime, for now, I'm going to stick with praying and setting a good example for the meantime.
Yes RW as all of the above have said.. Sometimes a prophet is not welcome in his home town... I would sit back and talk about every day stuff until they come to you... If the timing is wrong you will know so put off that conversation until the right time.. Sometimes it's best to scratch the surface and let them ponder... Prayers to St Joseph for your family..
Sometimes conversions take a long , long time, oftne many , many years. We just need to be patient and keep our lamps lit. Patience, patience, patience. I always love the story about Saint Monica. One day after mass St Monica sat weeping her eyes out. St Bishop Ambrose passed by and concerned asked her why she was crying. She said it was for her son , St Augustine who was far from God. St Ambrose answered, 'The child of these tears can never be lost!'
