  3. Guess what Muzhik.....as of tonight, on Tucker Carlson, there is the added "possibility" offered:

On Thursday night Dr. Mihael Polymeropoulos that not only is chloroquine successful in treating coronavirus but it (could) act(s) as a prophylactic and may "inhibit" a person from catching the disease.

Actually the doctor only said that it "could" act as a prophylactic but didn't really explain much beyond it being used only for a treatment. He is the President and CXO for the pharmaceutical company, Vanda, so he is putting out there "possibilities" for the drug.

she has not manifested symptoms of this disease for the time being thank God, but she has the health problems she has been suffering from for some years, such as hypertension and ostoporosis and has been facing depression, she is 79 years old and this makes her vulnerable to this virus, that's why I am very worried

"In 1918, during a more comparable epidemic (the Spanish Flu), Archbishop Doughtery of Philadelphia closed all the churches and then offered archdiocesan properties to the city to use as hospitals. 2000 Catholic sisters were the unsung heroes serving the sick. "

This was in an email I received from the Benedict XVI Institute for Music and Worship.

After so many of you already know about my state of health I wanted to thank you all deeply for all the prayers and support I get.
It is now day 11 with the virus and up until now it did not get any better. After I have been in home quarantine until yesterday morning my wife and I decided that it got worse and that I have to go to the hospital. Now I am here and they take good care of me. Please continue to pray! Especially for the ones who got hit by the Virus as hard as me ...

I just found this email, sent an hour ago, by the director of our Perpetual Adoration Chapel:

    Dear Faithful Adorers,
It is with the heaviest of hearts the decision was made this evening to close the Adoration chapel until further notice. The decision came with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in Dubuque County this afternoon; as I mentioned in an earlier email, once there was a confirmed case we would re-evaluate. This decision was weighed prayerfully and seriously taking in consideration our population of adorers and our desire to keep people safe and healthy. I pray Our Lord looks at this as an act of obedience to His Will for the common good and not a lack of trust in Him.

The Power of Prayer Adoration Chapel has been running 24x7 (with the exception of the Easter Tridium, when it's shut down for a thorough cleaning) without stop and without fail for over 25 years. In all that time, Jesus was never left alone, without someone to keep Him company. Since most of the adorers are over 65, the risk from the coronavirus was real. I pray it reopens soon.

There is more to this than meets the eye, and there has been much fear-mongering.
    Case not closed yet.

Here in my home State of PA, Governor Wolf has ordered all non-life-sustaining businesses to close beginning Saturday and lasting "indefinitely." He intends to enforce it with the State Police and other agencies: https://www.pennlive.com/news/2020/...ing-businesses-in-pa-must-close-gov-wolf.html

I fear the economic damage is going to be greater than anything this virus is capable of doing. Many small businesses will go under and never come back if this ban lasts "indefinitely"

Josephite posted a short video in which a man from Florida talked for a few minutes and explained what he felt like when he had the virus. He has recovered. It seemed to me that I was that sick a couple of winters ago with bronchitis and could not for the life of me recover/feel better/regain energy for about 2 months. I wish we would focus our attention at least a little on the people who recover from this instead of making each case a death sentence. I realize that we must follow the measures we are given. But this is a skewed perception we have of the severity of this illness. I have read several sources that sometimes people who have this are not very sick at all. And honestly, I have no idea why Italy was hit so hard unless we look at it from at Roman Catholic spiritual viewpoint.

I totally agree. I know some people in that boat here in Maryland. (non-essential businesses)

I just saw on the news that California has done the same. Doesn't a lot of our food come from CA? Yikes.
And you are correct Richard that this is going to have devastating effects.

4 New Jersey family members die, 3 others hospitalized after contracting coronavirus
By Danielle Wallace | Fox News | https://www.foxnews.com/us/new-jersey-family-3-deaths-4-hospitalized-coronavirus

A New Jersey mother, her two sons and daughter all died – and three other relatives remained hospitalized in critical condition – after contracting the coronavirus at a recent family gathering, according to reports.

Vincente Fusco died Thursday at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold, one day after his mother and brother died of the virus, Roseann Paradiso Fodera, a cousin and lawyer representing the Fusco family, told NJ.com. His sister died days before.

Grace Fusco, 73, a mother of 11 from Freehold, died Wednesday at CentraState Medical Center. Her son, Carmine Fusco, a New York- and New Jersey-based horse racing trainer, died that same day at St. Luke’s University Hospital-Bethlehem Campus in Pennsylvania. Both had tested positive for the coronavirus.

Her daughter, 55-year-old Rita Fusco-Jackson, died last Friday at the hospital in New Jersey. She tested positive for the coronavirus after her death, which deemed her the second person in New Jersey to die from a COVID-19 illness. She was a parishioner and a confirmation teacher in the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine.

“To imagine a week ago to get a phone call like this — if someone told me this story, I wouldn’t believe it," Roseann Paradiso Fodera, a cousin serving as the family’s attorney, told NJ.com. “It’s inconceivable to me.”

Three other family members remained hospitalized in critical condition as of Wednesday, reports said. Nineteen additional relatives, including spouses and children of those hospitalized, have been tested for the coronavirus and have quarantined themselves in their separate homes before results become available.

“This has been devastating for all of us,” Elizabeth Fusco, 42, of Freehold, said before her brother and mother’s deaths. “Our hearts are broken over losing our sister, Rita. We just need help in saving our family members with life-saving medication.”

It is believed the novel virus spread between relatives at a recent family gathering on March 10.

The family had ties to the first person to die after becoming infected with the coronavirus in New Jersey – a man named John Brennan, a horse trainer who lived in Little Ferry, NJ.com reported. His connection to the family was unclear.

Margaret Jahn, a Freehold health officer, said the city notified the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention about the recent string of deaths within the same family.

“There is definitely a cluster of cases at the hospital,” Jahn said. “We’ve conducted several interviews with regard to people who were exposed to close contacts, and we’ve followed up with those — so we are not seeing a community spread.”

At least 427 people in New Jersey were infected as of Thursday morning, according to Johns Hopkins University. The death toll stood at five people, including the mother and daughter from Freehold and Brennan.

January 19 there were 100 cases globally. March 19 there are 245,000 cases. We are only at the start of the global exponential growth. Without direct intervention from God, this virus will kill significantly more people than the flu.

Praying for your daughter's health, Carol. I feel strongly that anyone with symptoms should be tested. My son is in NYC, and he is also concerned about the shelter in place becoming a reality. He is having a very difficult time deciding whether or not he should stay put, or return home. He's worried about work, his apartment, and his financial situation, so he will probably ride it out in NY. Where I am, the governor of Massachusetts has deployed the National Guard. I think there may be a shelter in place order coming soon for Boston, and perhaps the entire state. :(
