I feel like taking back my suggestion above to Donna after seeing this sad and disturbing photo of a Chinese classroom. I don't see how children and adults can live with this type of reality and not be profoundly altered by it. Homeschooling seems like the way to go.
https://www.foxnews.com/media/dr-charles-lockwood-florida-coronavirus-cases-increase The covid-19 scenario is now directly impacting the lives of my family, revealing the insidious propaganda machine of the MSM. In other words the fear-mongering has achieved its goals. Yes, the number of covid-19 cases have soared, especially in the southern States. Now, in New York State, it is mandated that individuals from at-high-risk States (Georgia is one so listed) must be quarantined 14 days upon entering NYS. This means, my son, Patrick, will cancel his trip from Georgia to visit us because he can afford only a one-week visit. But if you read the above article, you come to realize the true underlying reason for the increase. Fear-mongering has achieved its goals, indeed! Florida is testing virtually 1% of its population daily. This means that when anyone gets a scratchy throat, they're afraid and run off to be tested. Yes, cases have significantly increased, but notice that a majority of positive cases are asymptomatic. This is actually good news because it means in this country we are moving in the direction of herd immunity. Covid-19 is weakening; only 1% of cases are serious across the land. But fear grips the population, at the smallest provocation, folks are getting tested. And the State governments are using this fear in order to take draconian measures that, in affect, shred the Bill of Rights to bits. How complacent we have become. I am reminded of the truth found in 1John: 18 There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear.
It's the same in Singapore. They are actively testing everyone who presents with symptoms of a respiratory tract infection, and also the foreign workers who live in dormitories. The majority of positive cases are asymptomatic or have mild symptoms not needing hospitalisation. But fear is still widespread. +
Fear is a NWO weapon. How easily we are manipulated. Me included. I have to keep reminding myself we are in God's Hands. ("It is You Who hold fast my lot...")
I can't understand why people are so fearful when it is so obvious by the numbers released daily (by the Singapore government) that only a small fraction of those infected need hospitalisation. And to date, we've had a total of 46629 cases and 27 deaths. Also, how will this virus stop spreading if we don't get a chance to build herd immunity? +
Agreed! But sadly here in US those statistics aren't given. It's hard to trust what we hear. It's a constant drum beat of "cases cases cases!!!"
I have always thought when looking at the models put out from states and CDC and all them, how odd the recovery rate is never listed. They have the positive cases and the deaths and under recovered....nothing. Obviously someone is recovered if they didn't die. So we are on the continuous hamster wheel until November I guess. Here is AZ we are seeing another up surge But of course, we are testing more and more so....... I think common sense and science have left the building!
did anyone catch Fox News this morning. They had a man on who said some hospitals were only reporting total tested and not negatives. This was either inadvertent or for bias. But it totally skewed the numbers. Because some of the facilities had over 1000 tested with 19 positives. That's a big difference. My Dad used to always say: Figures lie and liars figure.....
https://www.nytimes.com/2020/07/14/us/politics/trump-cdc-coronavirus.html Trump Administration Strips C.D.C. of Control of Coronavirus Data Hospitals have been ordered to bypass the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and send all patient information to a central database in Washington, raising questions about transparency. July 14, 2020 WASHINGTON — The Trump administration has ordered hospitals to bypass the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and send all Covid-19 patient information to a central database in Washington beginning on Wednesday. The move has alarmed health experts who fear the data will be politicized or withheld from the public. The new instructions were posted recently in a little-noticed document on the Department of Health and Human Services website. From now on, the department — not the C.D.C. — will collect daily reports about the patients that each hospital is treating, the number of available beds and ventilators, and other information vital to tracking the pandemic. Officials say the change will streamline data gathering and assist the White House coronavirus task force in allocating scarce supplies like personal protective gear and remdesivir, the first drug shown to be effective against the virus. But the Health and Human Services database that will receive new information is not open to the public, which could affect the work of scores of researchers, modelers and health officials who rely on C.D.C. data to make projections and crucial decisions. “Historically, C.D.C. has been the place where public health data has been sent, and this raises questions about not just access for researchers but access for reporters, access for the public to try to better understand what is happening with the outbreak," said Jen Kates, the director of global health and H.I.V. policy with the nonpartisan Kaiser Family Foundation. “How will the data be protected?” she asked. “Will there be transparency, will there be access, and what is the role of the C.D.C. in understanding the data?” News of the change came as a shock at the C.D.C., according to two officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter. Michael R. Caputo, a Health and Human Services spokesman, called the C.D.C.’s system inadequate and said the two systems would be linked. The C.D.C. would continue to make data public, he said. “Today, the C.D.C. still has at least a week lag in reporting hospital data,” Mr. Caputo said. “America requires it in real time. The new, faster and complete data system is what our nation needs to defeat the coronavirus, and the C.D.C., an operating division of H.H.S., will certainly participate in this streamlined all-of-government response. They will simply no longer control it.”
“How will the data be protected?” she asked. “Will there be transparency, will there be access, and what is the role of the C.D.C. in understanding the data?” LOL....now maybe we can get some real numbers. The CDC has been cooking the books on this pandemic so this is a positive thing as far as I am concerned.
Yes, AED, it is so bad here in New York State, they encourage you to turn others in! New York is actually a Red State, as in China red. To file a report of an individual failing to adhere to the quarantine pursuant to the travel advisory click here or call 1-833-789-0470. Safe in the Father's Arms!
