I went to the store this afternoon and I had with me a simple bandana type of face covering. I can't breath and get light headed and dizzy wearing the normal medical masks for even 5 minutes so I don't wear them and opt for what looks like a covering but is about like cheesecloth in reality. Some days I don't wear a mask. Nobody has ever given me even a second look or said a word about it. As I entered the store an attendant at the door asked me if I had a mask and I told him I did and I began putting it on. He went about his business. Well that comment perked up the ears of a woman in front of me dressed in black, rainbow mask, face full of piercings, tatood arms and a mowhawk. She quite literally looked like something out of the movie Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome. She promptly turned around and mad dogged me and began sputtering something my direction which I could not decipher for the life of me because her face was covered. I smiled at her and tried to lighten things up by jokingly telling her I was trying to get the thing on but my hands have about zero dexterity due to being crippled up. I thought she was going to punch me. The hatred in her eyes was incredible. She kept spewing something at me while I walked in and I abruptly bid her a good day and went on my way. Not a single person gave me a second look the rest of the time there. I don't get out much. My wife, God bless her does most of the shopping and errands around town with my daughter simply because I just don't have the energy for it most days. I had no idea that some people have become so unhinged and dare I say neurotic. I understand much better now why my wife has seemed to be struggling a bit with anxiety. It's one thing to see YT video's of people coming unhinged on each other in a place like Atlanta or Houston but to experience it in your own small town is something else. One thing I really don't understand about all this. The people I see who seem to be the biggest jerks about compliance with these mandates are mostly young, they don't work there and frankly look like terrorists who normally wouldn't comply with anything. It's really really strange.

You remarked on the hatred in her eyes which seemed to really stand out for you and that fact is significant. This is not a mere earthly battle. We all need to be ready to rebuke these hidden creatures in the Name of Jesus.
