I see 65 poor people died in the heat, the unbelievable heat in Vancouver. Poor people. There can be little doubt that this is part of the Tribulation. Also burning Catholic churches down is not good. Actions have consequences.

They keep on moving the goal posts, this means they want you to inject more toxic spike protein booster shots next year!
I really should not have complained about it…..as a kid, we never had AC and survived. I just need to offer little things like this up and not even mention it….especially since its nothing considering others living conditions. I’m blessed and grateful.
Oh how horrible they died! And burning churches…..oh my, we are really IN it now. Yes, it does feel as though the Tribulation is here. Geeezzz, just listen to the news…the world has gone nuts. Anyone living for this world is not going to find happiness. As St. Bernadette said, “ Our Lady said we will not see happiness in this world, only in the next.” It’s so obviously true……at least to me…..
Praying for you all who are experiencing this terrible heat. I guess the lack of AC is something to offer up. FYI, there is talk of this heat wave being weather modification. This doesn't change what people have to bear, but if it's looked at as another sign of evil manipulation then it's something to pray against to protect a place and to rebuke the evil. Apparently the FAA issued flight restrictions because of high radiation in Alaska in the area where HAARP is located in June just before the heat wave hit the west coast. https://www.zerohedge.com/political/haarp-firing-faa-issues-warning-about-electromagnetic-radiation And then the heat wave kicked in with its high pressure system keeping it in place https://www.accuweather.com/en/weat...ast-portland-seattle-pacific-northwest/968046 What I read is that the because Haarp is an ionospheric heater, it can create high pressure systems, so it fits. If the problem is coming from evil, we should increase prayers of protection and also increase praise to reclaim an affected area.
Boiling here as well. Very unusual for us to be in the dog days of summer this early in the season. Boston hit 100 degrees yesterday. Our next electric bill will be brutal. Yes we do love our comforts. I remember all the summer road trips I took as a child with no AC in the car. Had to open all the car windows to catch a breeze.
Lol about summer road trips Lol, I can relate. My mom drove us across DC to visit my father in the hospital during the summer in the 1950’s. I was all dressed up in a linen skirt which was so damp and wrinkled by the time we got there
Yes Yes Jo, as kids AC meant opening a window and most of us knew nothing else. Finally, today the temps have dropped, but I’m hearing that they’ll be back next week. So I’m cleaning house while it’s a wee cooler and I’m appreciating it. Ohhhhh, the simple pleasures…hahaha[/QUOTE]
Oh HH, that was back in the day when folks actually dressed up to visit a hospital or travel. Long gone are those days…even at mass. Im guilty of it myself….
Yes, my mom dressed me up. Do you remember how we had to dampen the clothes and iron them on a hot setting? Linen was the worst. So hot and heavy, and wrinkly, LOL Yes, I'm more casual now for sure. It's funny. One of the first chores my mom taught me how to do was iron clothes. LOL She kept the ironing board set up down the basement. I was elected. Smart mom. LOL. The second thing was setting the table, the third was washing dishes. I know I am not alone. LOL I forgot about making the bed. LOL
My choir director when I was in college was such a classy lady. When we flew out of state to sing at Masses and weddings, she insisted we all dress nicely on the plane. The girls were to wear skirts or dresses only, and no open toe shoes! Lol. At Mass we better be wearing hose. No bare legs before Jesus! I loved it.
I dress my kids in linen sometimes and it is certainly the hardest material to get wrinkles out of! I actually love ironing but it's hard to have the time with all these demanding little ones. I don't know how women back then did so much with so many children and so few modern conveniences.
