They know this…in my opinion, they are intentionally suppressing this…the question is WHY? I think it’s about more than increasing profits from pharma…..
Well, by the end of the month of September all State employed medical personnel at Upstate Hospital must be vaccinated. I'm not an employee; I'm contracted as well as being paid by my the Diocese. I'm preparing a conscience clause response as a defense. What will my Bishop decide? What will the hospital decide? What will the Lord speak to my heart? Today, the Lord made some marvelous interventions in the nursing home. God's grace was so evident! All is grace! Will I be shut out of the nursing home? What if I am and the Diocese chooses not to fill my vacated position? I would hate to see no Catholic presence there. It is like the Battle of the Alamo, with the line drawn in the sand. Who will choose to capitulate and flee before the battle? Who will stay on and fight? Not for my sake dear Lord, not for my sake, but for the sake of the residents, do not let them be abandoned again! During the Black Plague many saints died in the trenches to minister to the sick. Would my refusal to take the vaccine and leave the nursing home without a deacon, be selfish? Then again, I must not view myself as indispensable! After all, I'm not in danger from the vaccine like a young wife who hopes for children? But then, once you go down the Great Reset path, how many more vaccinations would be demanded of me? Where is my line in the sand?
Well, New York State has ruled. No exemptions for contracted health workers, nor will conscience exemptions be tolerated. No vaccine, then no employment or volunteer service allowed. That goes for both hospitals and nursing homes. The noose truly tightens; it's getting hard "to breathe!" Come Holy Spirit, O Breath of God, we need Your Wisdom! Deadline: September 27! And then, my Bishop ordained me and specifically earmarked me for chaplaincy. Will refusal of vaccine be disobedience? Who will stand against the tyranny? Safe in the Two Hearts!
So, so heartfelt Terry. Thank you for sharing your inmost thoughts. As the the priest in the video in other thread said, we are at a tipping point. This has been a very hard week for me in many ways but yet through a grace of God and prompting of the Holy Spirit I’m calm. I’ve been close to Jesus this week. It’s a great grace. I know you are too …. Your in the boat with Him on the raging Sea of Galilee, but He is with you and no harm can touch you. Will pray for you, your bishop, and for your patients. Peace.
I just am venting like this to you all, to show that making stands in regard to any issue, whether vaccine or TLM, is rarely cut-and-dry when you're in the midst of the flames. O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!

Mario is stuck between a rock and a hard place. Personally, I hope you don't get the vaccine even if your bishop demands it, but I'm not sure what I would do in your place. If my employer, down the road, says get vaccinated or resign, it will be a tough decision. The world has gone mad. I pray God intervenes soon.
Many of our church leaders, it seems, put more faith in the pharmaceutical companies' vaccines, than they do in God. The fear of death is behind many of these decisions, yet the risk of actually dying of Covid is pretty small. Sooner or later, we're all going to die of something. Are they not Christians? If they believe in the afterlife, why are they so afraid?

Mario, for whatever it's worth, I'll share an inspiration that I got recently in prayer as I was meditating on the intense pressure on those whose conscience is not at peace. I was praying, Lord how on earth can anyone resist this til the end? And this verse came to me right away: "Blessed is he that waiteth and cometh unto a thousand three hundred thirty-five days." Then it dawned on me: the above passage is about resistance to something very intense. And of course, the prophecy is clear that the struggle for those who last til the end will be great. And that is exactly what is going on. People who choose the path of ease (the one of the world) aren't resisting anything, unless they make their choice with love and that choice is never about going the way of the world. It's always about surrender and seeking the Lord's Will. I was afraid to post this because I was thinking to myself it will increase my own responsibility when I'm faced with the same problem - a selfish reaction eh? I don't know what awaits me either, so no judgment from me just sharing my inspirations and praying for you.
