There was a period of time when I hoped in the midst of the pandemic, that the culprits would be forced into the light and normalcy would return. But no, we are on a downhill trajectory that will not be halted until the Lord directly intervenes. Here in the USA, people's hopes were on the 2022 election; were on reversing Roe vs. Wade. Now they're with DeSantis or Trump in 2024. There remains a kind of denial of the true nature of the current battle. It is a spiritual dilemma that afflicts even the Catholic Church. One that sows confusion in our spiritual lives. It is the anguish which will test us until the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart. As the darkness grows deeper, we must seek the Light of Christ. Such will be the situation in the Three Days of Darkness when a single, lit, blessed candle will hold off the demonic darkness. Well said. Your post and Padraig's post remind me of something Fr Gobbi said to us in 1983 at a large gathering. He said the Blessed Mother told him a time was coming when every institution would fail--even the Church as institution. And that we must all go to the only safe place. Her Immaculate Heart. She promised to keep us there" as in an enclosed garden." I've never forgotten those words. I think if we stay close to her and faithful to our consecration and to our Rosary shd will navigate us through the chaos. We will need her constant help to discern. As Malachi Martin said to Bernard Janzen in the early 90's--if "they" capture the papacy then we are in unprecedented times and will be without the anchor and strong bulwark of the papacy. Orphans. BUT I believe Our Lady will lead us.

We have the same insane situation here: because the government suspended thousands of refusers, hospitals are so understaffed that personnel have to work even when they are sick including those with......covid! Some personnel are very sick with fevers too just like stated in Attkisson's report.
Same here in Canada.. they claim they are overwhelmed but it is due to the laying off of those who won't take the jab and the rest of the staff getting sick continuously because they are jabbed. Bill used to work in a local hospital for 9 years and he knows the administration is most of the problem..
Yes and here as well in the Pacific NW. Recently a hospital near us has had to call in firemen to help more than once due to the low staffing numbers after firing those who refused the vaccines. I had a knee replacement surgery cancelled a few days before it was to take place due to staff incompetence. It seems that health care has gone off a cliff since all this.
