it seems to me that all these things have had no effect. a person full of grace and united to God would never write that. this is pride at a high level. that's where the deception comes from. I have no more doubts, you are under a great spiritual illusion. this is clear. cttk effetcs
It is very possible that these messages are demonic in origin. The cries of “not condemned!” don’t change that.
You are not showing the respect to the bishops' opinions required of Catholics by canon law. Canon law never requires anyone to simply accept an "opinion" of any Bishop, esp. when the bishop, in that opinion, denies what scripture itself and the Church accepts about the coming era, tribulation, purification, persecution of God's faithful, wars and rumors of wars that will culminate in that war that would produce the end of times. Pope JPII himself requires that the faithful must use REASON.....here, weighing of the major disagreements with what the Church accepts, with what an "opinion" or even "statement" from the Bishop's office has offered. Mother Angelica herself gave us a great example of that lesson! One can respect the Bishop's office while also expecting then the bishop's own full agreement with what scripture and the Church have already spoken to and accept re: such eschatological expectations. Any "disavowal" made that itself is in disagreement with what the Church and scripture teaches has no proper foundation.
And it's possible, not knowing another, that anyone might be a night stalker or the like too! Silly! The devil doesn't promote the rosary, his nemesis, the Virgin....and esp. not confession! The fact that a PR is currently not judged by any of the required 3 final statements ordered by the Church does indeed make the fact of not being "condemned" very significant. It means that no thorough examination has taken place according to the protocol of the Church re: PRs.
The devil will absolutely have people do positive things. Below is an excerpt by Father Peter Joseph and link to read full document is at the bottom. “Why Does the Devil Do It? Catholics ought to be very cautious in giving credence to visions and messages before they have received approbation from the Church. The devil has raised up many false mystics in recent years. People ask: "Why would the devil be behind a revelation which encourages people to pray and fast and do penance? That would be Satan divided against himself." Fair question. Why would he do it? Answer: For a number of reasons: to distract people from the genuine private revelations; to lead them into exercises not blessed as such by God; to bring private revelations into complete disrepute; to cause disenchantment and even a crisis of faith when a seer is later plainly seen to be false; and, worst of all, subtly to lead some people out of the Church altogether. The devil is willing to lose a lot, if he can gain in the long run. The devil rejoices when Catholics reject the tried and true means of spiritual growth to chase after the extraordinary and the unapproved. The Church is extremely careful before approving a private revelation, for she knows how "even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light" (2 Cor 11:14). She must avoid both credulity and unfounded skepticism. "Do not quench the Spirit, do not despise prophesying, but test everything," directs St. Paul (1 Thess 5:19-21). And St. John warns, "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are of God" (1 Jn 4:1). Some spirits are quite easy to discern; others very difficult. Priests in particular must be examples of prudence and obedience in this area.” The whole article is worth the read! https://www.catholicculture.org/culture/library/view.cfm?recnum=6602
Did you forget about your posts the other day separating the institutional church from the “true magisterium”?
You were speaking to Private Revelations and not being "cautious". That was what I responded to. Anyway what's wrong with that? The term is used by many speakers when talking to the decisions made and communicated by those within the "institutional" (organized by men within but outside of the teachings of the Magisterium) Church (thus man made decisions) that disagree with the True Magisterium of the Church.....which often fall under the umbrella of "social justice", implying such things as divorced and remarried permitted to receive the Eucharist; gay marriage; finding rationales for abortion; promoting voting for so called "Catholics" who also promote such things; committing sacrileges within the confessional or the Mass but rationalizing such behavior while of course separate from the True Magisterium.....or what those here have already spoken to about those in the hierarchy who are now planning new liturgies that are "all welcoming"/protestant in thinking and contemplating how to approve of women priests and then even some day a woman Pope. And you don't separate such things from the True Magisterium?
You are promoting messages that have been condemned and are very possibly demonic. You clearly don’t know much about private revelations as you just said the devil can’t do good things. Just because you use a lot of words doesn’t mean you are saying anything.
One more interesting point from Father Joseph... “The current canonical practice is that the local bishop must appoint a committee to investigate and rule on any private revelation (if he thinks it worthy of investigation), but the Holy See may intervene if necessary or if the bishop asks it to. Alternatively, he may ask the episcopal conference of his country to assist in the investigation and judgment.” https://www.catholicculture.org/culture/library/view.cfm?recnum=6602
I'd prefer to use "a lot of words" and be detailed for the sake of further understanding, esp. when facts are necessary to refute inaccuracies than put limited words into the mouths of others who never said them. But since YOU brought it up, not me..... Actually though the devil can't do good things in truth as an originator of good.... You believe that evil can do good? The devil can "ape" an appearance of something, but that can be stopped by the usual methods ordained by God. But good remains essentially through all testings.
Earth, you use examples of "social justice" moves that you would deplore but that have not happened. But the general rule you propose, that one can disregard "institutional" church decisions that do not agree with the "True Magisterium," is dangerous. It is in fact a Protestant point of view, "every man a pope." In a letter to Fr. Rodrigue, Bishop Lemay wrote: I want to make it clear that I absolutely disagree with the prophecies of you on the aforementioned site (Ex. Warning, days of darkness, Era of peace, punishment, World War III (nuclear war in 2020), construction of shelters, etc.). None of the things the bishop mentioned (in italics) is either in Scripture or in the Deposit of the Faith. These are things that have come to us from approved--but not binding-- and unapproved private revelation. (I assume "punishment" here is the idea of a Chastisement--separate from the final events found in the Book of Revelations--which Fr. Rodrigue predicted.) You are calling the bishop out for saying something he has a perfect right and duty to say. You are the one who is wrong. I would add the bishops were making a public pronouncement because they had been contacted by upset and fearful people from all over the world, who were desperately seeking information on Fr. Rodrigue's predictions. Bishop Lemay included the scriptural admonition, "Take heed that you not be deceived."
ETA, You really should take the time to read the linked article from Catholic Culture that WTW had linked written by a priest who knows what he is talking about. He WILL use something that is good to, ultimately, obtain the evil he wishes to inflict.
Of course they've happened....and within the "institutional Church". There are priests, bishops, nuns, who have openly submitted themselves to just such new kinds of ideas that are not of course held within the True Magisterium. They have chosen evil and yet remain within the institutional church. AB Vigano names them.....those within the institutional church who are now working with the "deep state", that satanic NWO. Wake up! To say that isn't now occurring, rituals that ape the Mass, performed by prelates within the institutional church, is denying the reality we're in. And such end times expectations of course are indeed scriptural, esp. within Revelation, and you shouldn't mislead people to now, when all of a sudden after all of the emphasis on only "approved" Private Revelations, you find a new way to disregard them when they themselves, in order to be approved have to agree with the teachings and fulfillment of those teachings in time. It is agreed then, that being declared supernatural, the Holy Spirit is guiding the faithful into the future with such tools. The example of Fatima teaches that when the Church does not follow what it has approved of, meaning it is worthy of believing of coming from God, the people suffer to the degree we are now witnessing. Any Bishops who know of that approval and what was ordered there for the sake of the faithful, and neglect the next steps involved in that acceptance, will have much responsibility to atone for since they are the shepherds....no matter their personal ideas. People must weigh that against them. But even beyond the PR aspect, such disagreement with scripture itself, has no foundation. And, btw, a "nuclear war in 2020"? 2020 stipulated for nukes arriving? He speaks, allegedly, to things "beginning in the fall"........The great events of purification will begin this fall. ....The spiritual battle will begin. .....THE MONTH OF THE ROSARY WILL SEE GREAT THINGS! (people should not necessarily deem those to be only apocalyptic and bad. It doesn't say that specifically) This is more likely if true: There will be a great uprising. You will see revolution in your streets. People will fight each other openly. (already occurring but probably ratcheting up) The government will have no other choice than to institute martial law. At the same time that martial law begins, so will the war. re: the fraternity and monasteries' purpose as well: Allegedly.....We are in a time of emergency. When the Father gave me the fraternity, He asked me to build it quickly because it will be a refuge for many priests who will come there.
Timothy 2-23:24 23 Don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels. 24 And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful.
Earth, Your thinking regarding the "institutional church" vs."true magisterium" is exactly the same thinking that led Archbishop Lefebvre to break away from the Church and form a schismatic group, the SSPX. He refused to acknowledge the Novus Ordo Mass of Pope Paul VI. He rejected the express orders of John Paul II. He was excommunicated for this. The breach in the Church Lefebvre caused has not yet been healed. .
