Well. According to this letter by his bishop, the bishop says that Fr Michel did not submit his locutions to him. But Fr Michel claims he did show his bishop. That’s a huge red flag .
Although Our Lady's apparitions guide us and help us be better at loving God, they are not essential for our salvation.
Why not? How many times has She appeared to warn those in countries that if they don’t obey, they will suffer here on earth and eternally? Just go back to the French Revolution, WWI and WWII.
The way I read your post, I probably misunderstood what you were saying. Sorry. It read to me that it seems like if you do not believe in Our Lady's apparitions, you will not get to heaven. I absolutely believe that Our Mother appears and guides us, but at the same time I believe that other baptized Christians get to heaven without believing that the Blessed Mother appears.
Our Lady’s messages for me have been essential. She’s been another messenger for God. I find that essential, let alone remarkable.
I have always felt Fatima is a separate category. It became a very public revelation with the miracle of the sun. To have disregarded the Blessed Mother's requests has proved disastrous for the Church and the world. Everything she predicted if her requests were not met have followed.
You are jumping to conclusions. You have absolutely no proof that this bishop does not believe in Fatima.
No! Revelation includes what was written by the apostles, and the evangelists, that form the basis of the New Testament. Jesus appeared to the apostles is part of the New Testament. There is no official revelation after their writings, I think!
Private Revelations, when approved, form a part of Sacred Tradition. E.g. Rosary, Sacred Heart, Our Lady of Fatima, Divine Mercy etc were all approved private revelations. If the Bishop has said this, I'm sure Fr. Michel will co-operate with and obey his Bishop's direction. But it is only the beginning of an investigation and not the end. The Church has three categories, as we know: (1) "non constat de supernaturalitate", not confirmed to be supernatural; (2) "constat de non supernaturalitate", confirmed not to be supernatural; and (3) "constat de supernaturalitate", confirmed to be supernatural. This appears to be at (1) right now and the status could change as things proceed. Regarding Era of Peace, it is something quite certain from Sacred Scripture itself, beside being specifically prophesied by Our Lady of Fatima. Fr. Arminjon wrote, in a book praised by St. Therese the Little Flower, "Now, it is written that, at the end of time, the gospel will have been given as a witness to all the nations. David cries out, "All peoples, to the ends of the earth, will remember the Lord and re-turn to Him, because dominion belongs to Him and He governs the nations" (Ps 22:28-29). ... These texts are explicit and precise. It is clear from their testimony that there will come a time when all heresies and schisms will be overcome, and when the true religion will be known and practiced in all places illuminated by the sun." https://www.traditioninaction.org/religious/g004EndTimes.htm Prophesy is supernatural insight into the future. The Coming of the Messiah was made known to the Jewish People through Scriptural Prophesy, just as the Era of Peace has been made known to us both by the Scriptures and the Saints (see for e.g. Ven. Fr. Bartholomew's Commentaries on the Apocalypse, which speak of the Age of Peace, the Angelic Pontiff and the Great Monarch). Scripture admonishes us all, in Thess 5, "20Despise not prophecies." which shows prophesies should be regarded as a gracious supernatural intervention by God; but it does also add immediately, "21But prove all things: hold fast that which is good", which means we can use discernment to see which prophesies are good and true, holding fast to those which are. God does not leave people without prophesy, because, it is also written, "When prophecy shall fail, the people shall be scattered abroad". (Prov 29:18). St. Thomas commenting on this, said, "Wherefore at all times men were divinely instructed about what they were to do, according as it was expedient for the spiritual welfare of the elect." https://www.newadvent.org/summa/3174.htm Our Lady Herself, and also St. Mother Theresa, who supported Garabandal, told the seers to co-operate with the authorities, and God would work through them to vindicate the Truth. I trust it will be the same here with Fr. Michel.
If it’s true that the Bishop LeMay said he does not believe in the era of peace, then he does not believe in Fatima or scripture. I’m still asking for the proof that he said that. I don’t know. I’m just commenting from the earlier post that said he did.
On top of the objections that some have raised already on this forum, it seems that new information has shown that Fr. Michel has lied about the following: 1) submitting his messages to his bishop for approval (the bishop has flat out denied this). 2) the order he supposedly started (turns out it was a lay association). In addition, the journalistic integrity of Christine Watkins has been found wanting. Why did she not check on the claims before going to print and profiting off of these claims? This is a basic tenant of journalism; and her lack of judgement in this basic area is shocking. Also, this shows that many people on this forum who claim to be a good judges of prophecy just how “good” they are at identifying true seers. Folks, take note of them and treat their discernment appropriately. In reality, we are much further along than the beginning of the discernment process of the good father. But there will always be those like yourself, (who still post condemned messages from Holy Love where the bishop weighed in on citing canon law), who willingly decide to be put in harms way. Everyone else should beware.
What are you “seeing”? He has lied about receiving approval and starting an order. If he lies so willingly about the natural, do you really think he isn’t lying about the supernatural? And how can you trust the people pushing seers when they don’t even do the bare basic in checking sources?
The information that Garabandal posted is on the website Countdown to the Kingdom. You asked G where he got his information. I am telling you where it can be found.
