It is not an open confrontation yet, but by the training of Ukrainian soldiers in third countries and inside Ukraine by NATO commandos, through the delivery of ever heavier weapons, by assisting in reconnaissance with Western surveillance technology, by helping NATO commanders to investigate and determine missile attacks (Crimean bridge, sinking of the Moskva, North Stream, military shelter in Makiyivka), and by the recent silly statements of the german foreign minister... ...it is clear that it is already a war between NATO and Russia. There may be differences in the definition of a warring party. Relevant for us in the West is the Russian definition or when Russia sees only the way forward as a way out. I think this can be influenced by prayer. The RAND corporation is now in favor of a negotiated solution. So i think after the then Presidents of Ukraine, Germany, France, and most recently Boris Johnson told us that the Minsk agreement negotiations were just show, that a mediation by the neutral Pope Francis has not become less likely.

A woman recorded this video of an explosion over Billings, Montana yesterday. Apparently she saw a jet tearing across the sky and then heard the explosion. Speculation on social media that this may have been another balloon???
The man in Padraig’s video said that the first balloon came from Canada. This may have been another one. Thanks for the post.
It does sound like these balloons could be a "trial run" for something. We may never know the whole story.

At this point unless it is tactically relevant for Russia I can't see how diplomatic talks are even going to be entertained. With the Minsk accord being exposed for what it was (a stalling tactic) and Russia having momentum on the battlefield (albeit slow) it just doesn't make any sense.
