One thing I disagree with Fr Altier on and this is it. He calims that the fault of the priests is the fault of the priests alone. I disagee. These are our sons, our borthers, our cousins, our friends our guides. Their failures is our failure because we are family. We are family. Maybe we never prayeed enough. Maybe we never offered enough encouragement, friendship, support. Maybe we never warned enough or offered enough example. Maybe we never gave enough love. But we cannot any of us point the finger of blame so much as to absolve ourselves. Their failure is our failure.
One insightful point the Father made over and over and tha tis the lack of formation. People could not swallow the filthy poison being offered from the highly placed perverts in Rome at the moment unless they simply did not know the basics of the Faith. I am talking about really simple things like sexual perversion and immorality is wrong and you will go to hell for it if you get involved in it. I mean this involves the simple Ten Commandments. I was first taught this when I was 4 years old and made to memorise them. How in the name of God did we miss this? It's very, very basic.
