David and Goliath being played out in CA courts. I suspect that this is going to end poorly for David unless God intervenes.

Not necessarily. The Attorney made some good points on the law and looks very confident, indeed exited to go forward with this. The power of the rosary{our 54 day novnena} will win. Our Lady is cleaning house!

    From tomorrow's readings:

    Responsorial Psalm, Ps 98:2-3ab, 3cd-4, 5-6
    R. (2) The Lord has made known his salvation.
The LORD has made his salvation known:
in the sight of the nations
    he has revealed his justice.
    He has remembered his kindness
    and his faithfulness
    toward the house of Israel.
    R. The Lord has made known his salvation.
All the ends of the earth have seen
    the salvation by our God.
    Sing joyfully to the LORD, all you lands;
    break into song; sing praise.
    R. The Lord has made known his salvation.
Sing praise to the LORD with the harp,
with the harp and melodious song.
With trumpets and the sound of the horn
sing joyfully before the King, the LORD.
    R. The Lord has made known his salvation.

Praise the Lord, it breaks the back of satan

“The Most Holy Virgin in these last times in which we live has given a new efficacy to the recitation of the Rosary to such an extent that there is no problem, no matter how difficult it is, whether temporal or above all spiritual, in the personal life of each one of us, of our families…that cannot be solved by the Rosary. There is no problem, I tell you, no matter how difficult it is, that we cannot resolve by the prayer of the Holy Rosary.”

    Abortion Apocalypse Now!

The establishment media has carefully avoided giving any coverage to the preliminary hearing in the criminal case the California Atty. Gen.’s office brought against David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt in their undercover journalism project to reveal Planned Parenthood (PP) and other abortion outlets sale of the organs of aborted babies for profit. The sale of such parts for profit is illegal throughout the country.

Obviously, if the news were good for Planned Parenthood and its allies – and bad for Daleiden, it would be front-page news all across the country. That the establishment media is effectively blacking it out tells you who is taking the hits. Even so, the revelations are so horrific that some are bleeding out despite the media’s best efforts to keep it mum.

We have learned, over the course of this hearing, that many outlets were, indeed, using the organs of aborted babies as a profit center. We have learned that former Obama Atty. Gen. Loretta Lynch pushed the California AG’s office to target and prosecute Daleiden. We have learned that abortionists endangered women’s lives by doing more dangerous means of aborting their babies in order to get preferred types of intact tissue. We have learned how extensively the California AG’s office worked with PP to support laws which they could use to “get” Daleiden and Merritt. We have learned how closely PP and the AG’s office jointly coordinated the planning of this prosecution.

Most horribly, we have learned that the beating hearts supplied to research centers were harvested from living, born babies. The reality is so horrific that Dr. Forrest Smith, a California abortionist whose career spans many decades, took the stand to testify to that reality. Dr. Smith initially intended to expose Daleiden as a fraud – but when he realized what PP and its allies are doing, he was horrified. He is a witness friendly to Daleiden now, convinced that these barbaric practices must be stopped. Some of the babies, fully born and living, are killed by the dissection process itself. How depraved does a person have to be to see a living, distressed baby and, instead of cuddling it, instead cut it open with a scalpel and tear its heart out? This is truly an evil worthy of Nazi doctor Josef Mengele. When I wrote, a few months back, that I had learned something so shocking that I couldn’t sleep for several nights, this is what I was talking about. Most of the people who kill these babies through dissection are women. How dead must you make your conscience, your humanity, to do this and consider it all just part of a day’s work?

LifeSite News has given the best, most comprehensive coverage of the preliminary hearing. Breitbart has done yeoman work as well – and the revelations have been shocking enough that Fox News, National Review, and the Federalist have weighed in, along with sporadic coverage from other outlets. Keep in mind that this was just a probable cause hearing – which will determine whether the criminal case can go to trial at all. It was peculiar that the California AG chose to go the route of a preliminary hearing rather than use a grand jury to indict and go directly to trial. With a grand jury indictment, which a competent prosecutor can get for almost anything, the dirty laundry would not have been exposed so soon. I suspect three things were going on:

    • The AG and PP wanted to get an idea just how much Daleiden and his team already knew before going to an actual trial.
    • The AG was hoping to tank the case and get it thrown out before having to go to an actual trial, where it will be harder to hide the ugly truth of all this (though heaven knows, the media has gotten very adept at hiding facts that damage the left.)
    • There is an intense game of chicken going on here. At some point, the AG figured it has a disaster of a case. PP puts a LOT of money into politics – yet is completely unaware of how damaging all of this stuff is. It has gotten its way by bullying opponents for many decades now and is certain that tactic will still work. None of the rational leftist officials wants to become the subject of PP’s ire – for though it can’t help anybody much anymore, it can still hurt old allies a lot. So the AG wants to make the judge, Christopher Hite, the scapegoat for this case tanking. Judge Hite, who I think is a left-leaning but genuinely honorable judge, sees this game and lets it play out to illustrate, as it all implodes, that the AG had no business bringing this case in the first place.
Judge Hite will decide in the next month whether the case can go forward to trial or whether to…um…abort it. I am convinced that the AG’s frontline prosecutors are deeply hoping Hite tosses the case. The judge may well consider that all he really needed to come out to show what a misfire this case was from the start has come out – so I give it a 50/50 shot that he will toss it.

Meantime, the federal civil case that PP has against Daleiden goes to trial in just a couple of weeks. That is an even more disastrous case for PP than this state criminal case is. My perception is that Judge William Orrick, who is a judge completely supportive of PP, has tried to give the abortionists several graceful opportunities to bow out over the last few months. But PP is utterly convinced that its raw muscle makes it invincible, so has not taken the hint. I really look forward to the civil trial, as I think it will be an utter humiliation for PP and the National Abortion Federation (NAF) – and will be brutally hard for the establishment media to ignore.

Though PP and the media think it can hide the death camp level of depravity that infuses abortion centers, they would be well-advised to heed the counsel of America’s 2nd President, John Adams, who famously said while legally defending soldiers from the Boston Massacre – deeply unpopular defendants - that, “Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passion, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence.” Adams won his case.

I am glad of the hubris and arrogance of PP. I am convinced that the commencement of this preliminary hearing was the commencement of the fall of Planned Parenthood. We know who they are. It is being revealed through this hearing and more to come. Now, each of us must choose who we are. And all of us will have to give account for what we choose.

BREAKING: Jury rules against Daleiden, pro-lifers who exposed Planned Parenthood’s sale of baby body parts

SAN FRANCISCO, California, November 15, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) — David Daleiden and the Center for Medical Progress undercover investigators have been found guilty of multiple crimes and must pay millions in damages to Planned Parenthood for the work they did in exposing organ harvesting on aborted babies.

The jury of nine men and one woman released its verdict Friday afternoon after deliberating less than two days, even though the landmark civil trial took six weeks.

Verdict is in: Jury finds David Daleiden and CMP liable in their undercover journalism of Planned Parenthood for millions of dollars in damages for the work they did to expose organ harvesting on live babies:

The total amount awarded to Planned Parenthood is over $2 million, according to the Thomas More Society, which includes punitive and compensatory damages as well as attorneys' fees. Local San Francisco reporter Helen Chistophi tweeted from the courthouse that the punitive damages totaled $870,000.

Pro-life defense lawyers have already stated they will appeal, telling reporters outside the courtroom the "process was unfair."

“This lawsuit is payback for David Daleiden exposing Planned Parenthood’s dirty business of buying and selling fetal parts and organs,” declared lead Thomas More Society defense attorney Peter Breen. “We intend to seek vindication for David on appeal. His investigation into criminal activity by America’s largest abortion provider utilized standard investigative journalism techniques, those applied regularly by news outlets across the country.”

“David’s findings revealed practices so abhorrent that the United States Congress issued criminal referrals for Planned Parenthood, and numerous states and elected officials have moved to strip it of funding,” continued Breen. “Rather than face up to its heinous doings, Planned Parenthood chose to persecute the person who exposed it. I am fully confident that when this case has run its course, justice will prevail, and David will be vindicated.”

Daleiden called the verdict a "dangerous attack" on first amendment rights.

"Justice was not done today in San Francisco," stated the Center for Medical Progress in a press release.

"While top Planned Parenthood witnesses spent six weeks testifying under oath that the undercover videos are true and Planned Parenthood sold fetal organs on a quid pro quo basis, a biased judge with close Planned Parenthood ties spent six weeks influencing the jury with pre-determined rulings and by suppressing video evidence, all in order to rubber-stamp Planned Parenthood’s lawsuit attack on the First Amendment. This is a dangerous precedent for citizen journalism and First Amendment civil rights across the country, sending a message that speaking truth and facts criticizing the powerful is no longer protected by our institutions," the group added.

The case was heard by San Francisco’s U.S. District Court Judge William Orrick III, who has ties to Planned Parenthood, but refused to disqualify himself when defense requested him to do so.

CMP released videos in 2015 exposing Planned Parenthood’s apparently illegal trade in aborted baby body parts after a 30-month undercover operation.

The groundbreaking videos showed top-level Planned Parenthood executives haggling over prices of aborted baby body parts, and discussing how to change abortion procedures to obtain more intact organs, and sparked public outrage, congressional and senate hearings, and an ongoing Department of Justice criminal investigation into Planned Parenthood.

In the retaliatory lawsuit, Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) and 10 affiliates accused CMP project lead Daleiden, investigators Sandra Merritt and Adrian Lopez, and founding board members Albin Rhomberg and Troy Newman of Operation Rescue of multiple crimes, including illegal taping, fraud, and violating the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization (RICO) statute in connection with CMP journalists going undercover at Planned Parenthood and National Abortion Federation conferences in 2014 and 2015.

They were seeking $630,000 in base damages and millions of dollars in punitive damages.

Lawyers for the CMP citizen journalists say they were hampered by Orrick ruling out a First Amendment defense.

“Unfortunately, we couldn’t get Judge Orrick to back off from his insistence that the jury be instructed that the First Amendment … does not state any kind of defense to the charges in this case,” said Thomas Brejcha, founder of the Thomas More Society, in an update on the case last week.

“Which, frankly, we think is a terrible misreading of our fundamental constitutional laws about free speech,” he added.

Orrick instructed the jury Tuesday on points of law to consider when reaching their verdict.

The judge “had already found that the defendants trespassed when they attended, undercover, Planned Parenthood conferences in Miami and Orlando and met with Planned Parenthood executives at Planned Parenthood facilities in Colorado and Texas,” according to an Archdiocese of San Francisco report.

Orrick “instructed the jury to only concern themselves with the damages that the defendants are liable for that trespass, both punitive and actual,” it stated.

He also told the jury that the “defendants breached contracts with Planned Parenthood and the National Abortion Federation and the jury should award damages because of those breaches,” the archdiocesan report stated.

In closing arguments by Planned Parenthood’s lawyers “pretty much called David and the other investigators every name in the book,” but principally “liars,” said defense lawyer Peter Breen, senior counsel for the Thomas More Society, who referred to the case as “the blockbuster trial of the century.”

In four days on the witness stand, Daleiden testified he undertook the 30-month sting operation after reading testimony of the 2000 congressional hearings into illegal aborted baby body parts harvesting and seeing a 2000 ABC 20/20 exposé of a Planned Parenthood Kansas abortionist selling fetal organs for profit.

He also testified that he found a 2012 Circulation article citing StemExpress supplying human fetal hearts to Stanford for a study that, he was told, required the hearts be harvested from live babies.

Planned Parenthood’s lead counsel Rhonda Trotter “lied to the jury” in closing arguments by claiming Daleiden did not report Plaintiffs Planned Parenthood Orange & San Bernardino Counties or Planned Parenthood Mar Monte to law enforcement agencies, CMP reported.

“In fact, CMP had produced the reports to law enforcement in discovery in the case and Planned Parenthood has been aware of them for over a year,” CMP stated.

Daleiden and Merritt are also facing 14 felony counts of illegal taping under California’s anti-eavesdropping law. Judge Christopher Hite of the San Francisco Superior Court is expected to rule soon if there is sufficient evidence to proceed to trial.

This cursed jury illustrates what we are up against and it is likely to get very much worse. The general population is increasingly siding with evil and anything that comes down to a vote, whether a jury, a referendum or an election is ever more likely to favour the devil's side. The Gates of Hell are opening wider and wider. They will not prevail, as Promised, but the horror and damage being inflicted and that is going to be even moreso in the future, is almost unthinkable. Indeed, one is better off not to try and think of it, but to pray. Thank God for these dry martyrs. I think death might be easier than what they are being put through for their saintly deeds.
