Fruits of the Forum

  1. I was reading one of Padraig's posts about him bringing the forum to God as a fruit from his life, at the end of his life, and it got me thinking about all the fruits of the forum itself in our own lives.
I know I have been helped immensely by the different topics and questions and answers over the last few years. And then there are the fruits of the pms we can send to encourage each other.
The forum reminds me of a spring in which people come with cups in their hands to drink from and to share with others.
Thank you Padraig and may the Lord and Our Lady continue to bless you.

ps The forum can also be a little addictive ;)

And the people of the forum are truly the salt of the earth. Sometimes people, like my self are led here to the forum like a horse to water. You know they say you can lead a horse to water but can't make it drink. That is true but a little known fact is that you can put a little salt in its mouth and it will take a sip. Keep being the salt for all those who come and all those who are here.

I am truly grateful to Padraig for this wonderful Christian forum. There is a sense of fellowship and Christian love here that is wholesome and healing. I have learned so much from the members here, and I am amazed at the gentleness and spirit of helpfulness among the members. God is blessing this forum, I believe.

The board has been a blessing to me. I had never heard of Mark Mallett and Charlie Johnston before and I have watched some very inspiring videos.

Yes the forum is of great benefit to all of us. I began reading Mark Mallet over 9 years ago. From him I got wind of sondra abrahams then CJOHNSTON. It was by chance that I then heard of Padraig I can't remember the exact course of events but it was sometime I'm august2014.

Padraig is fond of saying that there are no coincidences and I can clearly discern the gentle hand of providence behind this.

    It's good to be here.

I look at the forum as a second family.......sort of like having heaps of brothers and sisters:cool:

You feel some of your brothers and sisters are on the same wavelength as you

but also, theres that annoying brother :whistle:

    and the smarypants sister:coffee::p

but you love them all and wouldn't change them for the world.:D

Or then again....... Maybe you would;)

I have had the pleasure of being on board since the forum's inception back in 2007. Friendships were formed with wonderful folks, some who no longer participate. In light of that, I see the forum as an inn on the road of life where Mary's children can come in from the rain to refresh themselves with good food and fellowship. Even if responsibilities cause one to travel another route, I'm sure they retain warm memories and gems of wisdom from their visits here.

Whether frequent visitors or not, a toast to you all!:):coffee: And may Our Lady cover us all with her Mantle of maternal love and protection.

Luke 10: 33 But a Samaritan, as he journeyed, came to where he was; and when he saw him, he had compassion, 34 and went to him and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; then he set him on his own beast and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. 35 And the next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper, saying, `Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, I will repay you when I come back.'

I find myself now getting very fond of people in a very short space of time and so feel a sense of loss when they go.

Its the same in work, people come , people go but all have a place in my heart.

We are all gifts from God to each other.

The only forevers are in heaven.

t most have been the same for the Aposltles when they split up to witness to the world

I feel I was led to this forum at a time when our Lady was very much helping me get my house in order, I think she knew I needed community with her fellow children. Therefore I believe this is a good place to be. This forum also gives great direction in prayer life and great fuel for prayer.

Hey, I resemble that remark! Seriously, though what a concise, precise description of our family here. I guess we're a reflection of any family.
But, we all love each other here!
