Thought this article on Garabandal was interesting https://catholicexchange.com/discovering-the-apparitions-of-garabandal
Glenn, just wanted to thank you for posting this. I don't know what to ultimately think on Garabandal, but would like to be hopeful, and keep an open mind. This is awesome advice from Conchita, and I will try to live it out.
You know, Fatima, this article conveys once more that the most powerful witness is not signs or wonders but the Catholic Faith well lived by families. Notice the end of the article: Who is the Church? — is it this small triumvirate of saints? Is it the workaday Catholics who arise each day striving to live as Christ? Lord, revive my heart so my life can be a credible witness to your grace and truth! Safe in the Flames of the Sacred Heart!

A MEMORABLE INTERVIEW WITH A GREAT BISHOP ABOUT GARABANDAL. "The message given by the Blessed Mother at Garabandal is the same one given at Fatima, but updated for our times" https://www.garabandal.us/zips/pdf/bo_interview_bishop.pdf
Thanks, Glenn. Her lack of interest in publicity has often stood out for me. I think she must be a very humble person! She reminds me in that way of a Syrian seer named Myrna Nazzour, who lives a simple life as a housewife, and is also very humble, and unassuming. Conchita's advice is also very good! Focus on Christ, growing in holiness, the Rosary, and doing good. She must have a similar take on the troubles that the Church faces now.
She is the most humble person I've ever met. For a time, while she was at a house in Fatima, she went daily to an older priest’s residence to volunteer as a cleaning lady. As on other occasions, she went there using the name of Maria, in order not to be recognized. However, one day someone recognized her and immediately all the resident priests knew that the woman who swept the floors of their residence was Conchita of Garabandal. From then on, nothing was the same. Conchita told me that when the priests discovered who she was, they changed the way they treated her. She said she was sorry that they had found out who she was because she felt better serving those elderly priests anonymously.
Reminds me very much of Saint Bernadette. "The Blessed Virgin used me like a broom. What do you do with a broom when you have finished sweeping? You put it back in its place, behind the door!" Thank you, Glenn, for sharing her with us. She sounds like a lovely, humble, good lady.
Yes, she is. I have countless stories about her. Did you know that when Saint Padre Pio died he left her one of his blood stained gloves, his rosary, and one of the veils that covered his face at his wake ? That speaks volumes to me about her character. View attachment 10636
TODAY IN GARABANDAL HISTORY : MARY LOLI ON THE “WARNING “ & MIRACLE, IN THE SAME YEAR ! July 27, 1975 Q. You have said that you know the year of the Warning. Can you tell us if it will occur in the next few years or is it still in the distant future? A. No. I can't say anything. Q. Did the Blessed Mother tell you not to speak about the Warning? A. No, she didn't , but, because the Warning and the Miracle are within the same year, I feel it inside not to say anything. Q. How do you know the Warning and the Miracle are within the same year" A. During an apparition-I don't remember just when- the Blessed Virgin told me. Reprinted with kind permission from GARABANDAL International October-December 2004
