Thanks Glenn. Reminds me of the Time when Joey told me(& many others from Joeys group) when he said a mystic took his hand one time & made a semi circle from left to right. She only spoke Italian and as she was making the semi circle in his hand in Italian said: “Joey-Fatima, Lourdes, Garabandal. Solo uno.” He took my hand and did it to me (in a way that was so Joey) and said to me the same in English-except the “solo uno.” Even I know that’s Italian. Anyway, thought I’d Share. I miss Joey & pray to him everyday.
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL OUR MOTHER'S HERE ! I thought you would appreciate that Conchita talked about being a Mother in America ,and that she shared the same struggles as you raising a family. Keep in mind that she had the extra burden of who she was ,and the secret she holds (date of the Miracle ). Personally , I think the first version left too much doubt and not nearly enough evidence to make the case for a authentic case to defend Garabandal as authentic! I was very disappointed. Glad I didn’t pay to see it...I’d have left with a very wrong interpretation of the actual, total picture of the whole truth....and the evidence of it. Imho...
I had a terrible realization today when I saw the coming attractions for another movie. They purposely avoided all 3 living Visionaries for imput on the first movie ,so they could tell a partial tale in one movie, another portion in another movie , and so on. MORE MOVIES, MORE MONEY. I have received so much negative feedback from facebook members (about 75% ) disliked the movie for a host of reasons and blamed me for promoting it, which was my fault in a way because the Producers never interviewed Conchita , and led us to believe we would get a private preview before its release, but they never gave Conchita or myself a DVD copy to preview before its release, we trusted them. I blame myself for its promotion around the internet, and even to the point of donating my own personal money to start showing the film.
No! Don’t blame yourself Glenn! They did deceive you, but the bad is on them...not you! They obviously know this must be a legitimate apparition and want to try to discredit it, but Our Lady will have the last word here....and She knows your intentions...don’t worrying about that! Trust me...the truth is within Her....not to worry!
GARABANDAL - IMPORTANT DATES June 18,1961 -1st appearance of St. Michael July 2, 1961 - St. Michael appears with the Blessed Mother (her 1st ) July 31,1961 - the girls in ecstasy, fall on the rocks on their knees, and also recite the rosary, without having learned it, without rosary beads, and without making mistakes regarding the “Mysteries”. August 8, 1961 - Fr. Luis Andreau has a vision of Mary, and is shown the “great Miracle”. He yells “ Miracle” 4 times. Later that night he dies on the way home. August 19 ,1961 The girls are 1st kissed by Mary. Oct. 18, 1961 - 1st Message given by St. Michael (from Mary ) June 19 & 20 1962 - the “2 nights of screams”, where the girls are shown the future possible “Chastisement”. June 22, 1962 - St. Michael tells Conchita that there will be a miracle of a “ Visible Host”, and she will announce it 15 days in advance. July 3, 1962 - Conchita announces the Visible host will appear in 15 days. July 18, 1962 - at about 1 am, the host appears on Conchita’s tongue out of thin air, and is caught on film. February, 1963 - Joey Lomangino goes to confession to Padre Pio, and asks if the apparitions are true in Garabandal, and Padre Pio says “ Yes”, and Joey goes to Garabandal and becomes friends with Conchita. March 18,1964 - Conchita speaks to Mary and the Blessed Mother tells her that Joey will receive his “new eyes” on the day of the great “ Miracle”. July 18,1964 - Conchita is told that the body of the Fr. Luis Andreau (who died on August 8,1961) will be found incorrupt, the day after the “ Miracle”. January 1, 1965 - Mary tells Conchita at the Pines, about the “Warning”. June 18 1965 - St. Michael appears at the same spot he did 4 years ago and delivers Mary’s 2nd message. Nov. 13,1965 - Mary appears for the last time, holding the child Jesus (to Conchita alone). She kisses religious objects, tells Conchita “to visit her Son in the tabernacle, where he waits for us”, tells Conchita she cannot be brought to Heaven right now because “her hands must be filled with deeds, and now her hands are empty”.

Glenn, Geralyn and I watched the movie together for the first time this past weekend. I tried to view it from the perspective of one who knew nothing about it, and was emotionally moved. It had essential elements such as the "three calls," the messages, answered prayers, "the little miracle," etc. Obviously, for us there was much fluff that was added in: the focus on the brigadier, some of the antagonists, small crowds, and the like. I didn't like the way they portrayed Conchita faking an apparition. But for a first timer, I believe it would hit home and be a grace to draw them closer to Our Lady. And taking into account how short a time they allowed for filming and editing, I have to give a thumbs up; though I admit Fr. Andreu's portrayal was very disappointing. I remember the famous Fatima movie from the '50s, which inserted a key protector of the children who was fictional and other inaccuracies. But I did not know about such inconsistencies at the time, and was very impressed and blessed. I am mad that people criticized you! Imagine if after Our Lady touched the heart of a newbie, he or she came across all of the criticisms on Facebook? For shame, for shame! Being too analytical, can become a tool of the devil. Your ministry is wonderful, Glenn. Keep up the good work even when the Lord allows for a burdensome cross to draw you closer to Himself. Our Lady of Mount Carmel, pray for us!
Mario, I agree. I pray that the movie was a good introduction for a newbie, as you have stated. But I also agree with Glenn to the point he makes as to why would they not make one movie to give a summary of the whole story of Our Lady of Garabandal and I pray that this new movie will be available at no cost. Their website states that it will be out this Spring and with most theaters being closed now due to the pandemic, I am really praying that they just offer it for online at no cost. I am sorry that Glenn received so much negative feedback about the first film but there is so much debate about the apparitions of Our Lady of Garabandal I can easily see this happening. I also agree that the 3 living seers should have been consulted before the filming of the first movie but since Conchita met with two of the actors of the first film at her home after it was prodcued I thought that Conchita gave her blessing to the film. I hope that the film did not cause her or any of the seers any stress but then again the task that they have been given has never been easy. THE TRUTH What nobody knows but me it what happened prior to the picture above, well the truth is the producers called me basically asking for a visit with Conchita,at her home ,which she especially guards her anonymity , and doesn't like ( and you know to get a photo op help to promote the premier). I knew the answer in advance BUT I called her anyway, and she politely declined, not wanting any notoriety. Well, they got mad, and kept calling Nuns & Priest until they found one who knew her and asked, and she had to say yes. THEN they wanted a picture of her for the "pro-mos", and they made sit with the actors, holding a statue of Mary of Garabandal. I knew right away when I saw her face, she was not pleased ! NO smile and eyes focused down. So forgive me, but I am not giving them anymore money for this insult of the Mary's messages. This was about their ego, and not getting the story right.
I just came across the following today when I was searching for that photo of Conchita and two of the actors from the first movie. It is a good sign imho and therefore, I am posting it here. It seems that the film is making a positive impact on some people even deacons other than our own, Mario. In addition, your posts, Glenn, are also making an impact. I was surprised by just how powerful this film was, never myself being a big devotee of the Garabandal apparitions. Yet, as I was watching it, I felt a strong presence of the Holy Spirit and felt a deeper desire for prayer and sacrifice, showing the spiritual fruits of the movie at work. If you are looking for a very spiritually uplifting experience — especially during this time of solitude — I highly recommend watching this film. What’s also interesting is that recently one of the Garabandal visionaries, Conchita González, made a statement regarding the current situation with the coronavirus and how God’s plan is present in the midst of it. Her words are the most spiritually enlightening I have read yet regarding the matter.
