When Joey sees the miracle from where he is now, he'll obviously not "see" it the same way that we "see" it here on Earth. That is because after death you don't have your physical body that allows you to physically "see" material things. Maybe this is related to the fact that he is to be given "new eyes" the day of the miracle? About extra terrestrials (just my opinion): I think that God may, if He wants it, give life to other creatures in the universe. However, I refuse to believe that these creatures might be reasonable being (as we humans are). 1) If they are reasonable, they can sin, and God would then have to incarnate Himself on each and every inhabited planet and die countless times for their sins, in order for them to be saved. But this is not possible. Christ died once and for all. 2) If they are not reasonable, they are re animal-like creatures, and we don't have to worry about them. 3) If they are reasonable and never fell from Grace, we don't have to worry about them either. 4) In the event some creatures in the universe, while not being reasonable, are intelligent enough to harm humans, they wouldn't be able to get close to Earth anyway. You'd need more than lightspeed to come here from any remote planet, and there's no way you can travel through the universe at lightspeed without hurting some rock on the way. So let's not worry too much about alien related stuff. There are plenty or more important things to consider for Salvation.

So, couldn't we at least presume that the above-reported revelations were simply recalling, if also "confirming" a true kerygmatic truth, an article of the Church early Creed? Future and larger works on Garabandal, based on numerous authentic original sources, should present it all in a much more detailed way. As for the Scriptural foundation (mainly 1 Cor, Rom, Col, Eph, and Peter I and II), we can do no better for the time being than to indicate among the numerous exegetical works bearing on this still mysterious aspect of Christian faith, the major study of M. Saint (Padre) Pio affirms Garabandal to a PH.D in confession. Joachim Bouflet,PH.D. went to Padre Pio for confession in July of 1968. Padre Pio told him "Pray to the Madonna. Consecrate yourself to the Virgin of Carmel." "Yes, Padre, I pray to Our Lady of Mount Carmel. For that matter, I would like to become a Carmelite." He didn't comment on this but repeated with insistence, "Consecrate yourself to the Virgin of Carmel who appeared at Garabandal." Bouflet:"So it's true?" Padre Pio : "Certo e vero!" Wow, somehow in all these years of following this thread, I missed this story. I tried to find the Dictionnaire referred to above to find the M. Combe study and found several volumes of archived books that look like wonderful treasures of things forgotten about our faith. I wish there were a 1000 hours in a day and I could spend more time reading about the lost treasures in our heritage. It would not surprise me if there are other life forms out there (humanity is one "kind" of life, ie "mankind") but the truth about those lives and how we all fit together can only come through honest efforts grounded in God (the Church) and not from the CIA or the Pentagon.

My impression was that, in the Garabandal messages, the Pope visit to Moscow would have to happen in an atmosphere of extreme distress in Europe (like on the brink of war) which does not seem to be case at this time.
