Pope John Paul I died today on September 28,1978. only 33 days after being installed as Pontiff). Now I mention this with good reason. His passing actually caused one of the prophecy misunderstandings. When Conchita said there would be "3 more popes, until " the end of the times" she was not counting Pope John Paul I because of his short reign. Albrecht Weber, the author of the book “The Finger of God“, had become involved in Garabandal in 1963 and became friendly with Conchita. On November 14, 1965, the day after the last apparition of Our Lady in Garabandal, Mr. Weber interviewed Conchita at her home in the presence of her mother. There was also present with Mr. Weber an interpreter. During that interview, it came out that when Conchita had spoken, on the very day that Pope John XXIII died, of “Three more Popes and then would come "the end of the times,” (NOT the end of all time ) her mother had asked her several questions. In response to one of her mother’s questions, Conchita responded that Our Lady had actually said that there would be FOUR MORE POPES but that She was not counting one of them. When Conchita’s mother heard that she strictly forbade Conchita to repeat that again as her mother feared there would be erroneous interpretations and much gossip. People might wrongly believe that one of the Popes might be false or bad, etc. During that conversation with her mother, Conchita also said that Our Lady had told her that one of the Popes would have a very short reign
TODAY IN GARABANDAL HISTORY: SEPTEMBER 29, 1967: In the evening of the Feast of St. Michael, Conchita, preferring not to join this group in prayer, rather climbed up to the Pines with a few other persons. September 29 Feast Day of the Archangels We know of the great involvement of St. Michael during the apparitions at Garabandal, teaching the girls how to receive Communion, and distributing it to them ,when Priests were not available. And we have a story of St. Gabriel accompanying St. Michael and our Blessed Mother on one particular visit on July 2 ,1961. .

THE PHENOMENA OF THE SUN SEEN AT GARABANDAL ! On June 13,1978 at approximately 5 :30pm, A group of pilgrims from Great Britain were praying at the grove of Pine trees, and all of a sudden one of them said “ Look at the Sun ! “ 32 of the pilgrims observed the Sun in the shape of a cross while others saw it turn into a silver disk which spun rapidly, others saw it change into different colors such as blue and green, sometimes within another circle. Fr. THIS DAY IN GARABANDAL HISTORY : OCTOBER 1, 1961: "THE BLESSED VIRGIN TOLD ME ONE THING . . . MORE IMPORTANT THAN ALL YOU [DON VALENTIN] HAVE WRITTEN UNTIL NOW." First day and also first Sunday of the "month of the Holy Rosary" Conchita, at the end of a nocturnal ecstasy, told Don Valentin that she had just learned something from the Blessed Virgin which was far more important than anything that the pastor of Garabandal had been able to note until now. It dealt almost certainly with the future conversion of Protestants or Anglicans, according to what Conchita herself told Placido Ruiloba at that time: "Why do you criticize the Protestants, since 'soon' we will be reunited (or "ONE" - comunes)". Our Lady would reveal gradually to the visionary the first element of a future "major Church event," that is, "the perfect Unity of all Christians at last being accomplished, the very "reunification of Churches" in the Unique Church of Christ! True she began revealing it, one might reasonably think, through the deceased Padre Luis, from August 15, 1961 on other people there. BARRY HANRATTY PASSED. It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I must inform you of the passing of Barry Hanratty age 84 died on October 1st 2022 at 3AM at the St Joseph Hospital in Wayne NJ of Covid-19. He was given the last rites by the hospital Chaplin a few days prior. Most of Barry's life was getting the Message of Garabandal out to the world. It was in the early 1970s that Barry was on pilgrimage to Lourdes and a priest from England said "have you heard about Garabandal"? Barry replied in the negative and later the priest sent a leaflet on Garabandal and that was the start of Barry's journey. He then started working with Joey Lomingino at the NY Center in Lindenhurst and publishing the “GARABANDAL “magazine. When GARABANDAL magazine ended in 2002, Barry, seeing the importance of continuing to spread the Message of Garabandal, started the “GARABANDAL JOURNAL” in 2002. Barry and I remained close friends over the last 30 years, using each other to verify Garabandal facts. He will truly be missed. Barry will forever be remembered as one of the foremost authorities on Garabandal, and for spreading Mary’s message around the world for more than 50 years ! God rest his soul. Pelletier On 3 separate dates in 1972, people witnessed the Sun “dancing” in the skies of Garabandal. On May 24, 1972, June 8, 1972, and October 3, 1972. May 24, 1972 - “This happening is mentioned in the “NEEDLES” (Fall 1972 issue pg.24). The magazine quotes Marita Foley as follows: “On Wednesday May 24, while some 40 of our group were gathered together after the recitation of the rosary, the Salve Regina and other prayers, under the Pines, someone exclaimed “ Look at the Sun !, Look at the Sun ! “ We did so. And to our amazement the sun was spinning in a clock wise direction. ( The event took place at 6:30pm and lasted about a half an hour ).

Conchita raises a Scapular for St. Michael to kiss In ecstasy, Conchita raises toward the Vision, the Scapular of a Brother of the order of St. John of God. The Garabandal Visionaries manifested great respect for the Religious who visited the Village. During the years of the apparitions, the Visionaries could always identify a priest. Even if he was in lay clothes and concealed his identity in other ways as well. Garabandal Unstoppable Waterfall is a really, really great documentary. Some people are so quick to point to Joey's passing as proof of it all being fake, however IMO they are interpreting things in human terms and not divine. I believe. My heart leads me to believe it. Although I'm sure people have in the past, I just can't fathom the ramifications of faking such an event.
Most of the people don't know any of the details, so they are quick to assume something. I had several thoughts that came to my mind when Joey passed.. “My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor your ways My ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are exalted above the earth, So are My ways exalted above your ways, And My thoughts above your thoughts.” (Is. 55: 8-9) “Oh, the depth of the riches Of the wisdom and the knowledge of God! How incomprehensible are His judgments, And how unsearchable His ways.” (Rom. 11:33) *What did Mary say EXACTLY to Conchita to tell Joey? She said “that you shall see on the very day of the Miracle. “ - MANY PEOPLE HAVE CHANGED THESE WORDS OVER THE YEARS,BUT ALL MARY SAID WAS “YOU WILL SEE THE VERY DAY OF THE MIRACLE” , but he will see the Miracle ! DID JOEY FULFILL THE REQUIREMENTS MARY ASKED FOR ? Most people have never heard about this part of the promise ! Most people did not know that Joey suffered greatly the last two years of his life, and in addition to being blind, he became nearly deaf and was so weak from several heart attacks, he was so weak he could not attend daily mass. So, Did Joey fulfill saying the prayers he was supposed to say each day , to fulfill the prophecy to regain his sight ? Mary said : "Joey do you want to see again?" "Yes." "Then you pray. Say 17 Hail Mary’s, 7 Acts of Contrition, 5 Our Father’s 3 times a day. “ I am wondering if Joey ( in the midst of his suffering several heart attacks) wasn’t able to complete those prayer conditions for his sight and that he privately changed his mind, and decided to remain blind by offering up the sacrifice to God for the salvation of souls, and to be taken to Heaven early ? IS JOEY PART OF THIS PROPHECY ??? On December 6, 1962, Conchita had a 90 minute ecstasy around 5:30 in the afternoon after which, she provided more pieces of information regarding the Miracle: “One day, before the Miracle, something will happen that will cause many people to stop believing in the apparitions of Garabandal. “ Jesus comments on belief of Garabandal before the Miracle From Conchita, Dairy pg. 204, 1966: He [Jesus] replied..."I want to tell you, Conchita, that before the miracle occurs, you will suffer much, for few people will believe you. Your own family will believe that you have deceived them. I am the one who wants all this, as I have already told you, for your sanctification and so that the world may comply with the message. I wish to advise you that the remainder of your life will be a continual suffering. Do not be frightened. In your suffering you will find me and also Mary whom you love very much... I will be with whoever suffers for me."
OCTOBER 5 , 1930 JOEY LOMANGINO’S (earthly ) Birthday. I could write pages of what an enormous blessing it was to meet Joey, first as a boy, and have a healing from the kissed medal on my legs, then 20 years later, and start working with him, becoming friends with him, getting to know his family, and all the spiritual lessons he taught me along the way, always with a smile and laughter. I treasured all 20 + years I knew him, and what makes me smile everyday is how all my pages has grown, knowing he is watching, and knowing his life's work of making Mary’s messages at “Garabandal” known around the globe, continues everyday here, with his blessing, since 2009. I once asked Joey, “ what was your greatest blessing in life ? “ ( thinking to myself well maybe it’s meeting Padre Pio, Conchita, the messages of Garabandal, his family ). He said “ my blindness “. A little dumbfounded I said “ why ” ? “Because if I had never been blinded , I never would have probably been saved” . He taught me one lesson after another. He sees through “spiritual eyes”, Your soul and its final destination , that should be our focus and aim in life. Thank you and God bless you Joey !
