I love this story. It reminds me of all those who have been martyred protecting the Eucharist for their love of Our Lord and His flock.
JANUARY 12 - 20, 1966: CONCHITA'S FIRST TRIP TO ITALY: ROME, THE VATICAN AND POPE PAUL VI) AND A MEETING WITH BLESSED PADRE PIO. On the order of Cardinal Alfredo Ottaviani, then Pro-Prefect of the Sacred Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, who had been informed about the Garabandal "events" by the father of the Princess of Bourbon Parme as early as the summer of 1965, Conchita at last goes to Rome. On this trip with her there were Fr. Luna, Cecile of Bourbon Parme, Aniceta (Conchita’s Mother) and Professor Medi (University of Rome), former ambassador of Spain to the Vatican. Cardinal Ottaviana listened to Conchita for more than two hours. Several other important members of the Roman Curia also welcomed the visionary. She would later meet the Pope's confessor and told him also the date of the future "D" day. (Miracle Day). But, more important, Conchita was to be introduced to Paul VI, in a very private audience attended by only five persons, which took place providentially on . . . January 18th! Undoubtedly, on this very first day of the "Week of prayer for the Unity of all Christians," the visionary told the Holy Father what she knew about the future 'reunification of all Christian Churches. The Sovereign Pontiff will eventually bless the visionary twice in these terms: "Conchita, I bless you and with me the whole Church blesses you." Taking advantage of a wait of twenty-four hours before her rendezvous with Cardinal Ottaviani, Conchita and her fellow travelers went to San Giovanni Rotondo. There she met a "friend": Blessed Padre Pio! The latter, although not feeling well that day, came nonetheless against all expectations, to greet the visionary . . . as soon as he was told that "Conchita of San Sebastian de Garabandal is also here." The interview was warm, the famous Capuchin constantly blessing Conchita and assuring her of his prayers. As to her crucifix, kissed by the Blessed Virgin at Garabandal, Conchita presented it to Blessed Padre Pio during her visit, asking him to bless it. This he did, placing the small crucifix on one of his stigmata, in the palm of his left hand, then covering it with Conchita's hand . From the book 'Garabandal', by J. Serre, pages 204-205
...that means the vatican knows the date of the miracle? so hasn't the vatican judged garabandal negatively to this day? if the date was in the past and the miracle had not taken place until today, garabandal would certainly be judged negatively (constat de non supernaturalitate). sorry for my bad english, it's not my native language.
No just the opposite ! They would have closed down the apparitions if they thought it wasnt true So by having the date of the Miracle , they are being prudent (in their minds) by waiting until that date to make a determination. So in reality they do believe its true, they just want the Miracle date to back it up.
SUNDAY, JANUARY 13, 1963 Mari-Loli's last ecstasy (two months later she, as well as Conchita, will enter into the phase of her locutions). For some time already (Fall 1962), the visionary had known the very year of the future Warning, and also that "the Aviso will come less than a year before the great Miracle," furthermore that "both of these future great events might occur the very same year . . ." (Mari-Loli first public declarations, 1975). From 'Garabandal' Book, J. Serre page 162
TODAY IN GARABANDAL HISTORY: JANUARY 14, 1963 : CONCHITA LEARNS THE DATE OF THE “GREAT EVENTS OF “D” DAY. ( THE MIRACLE ) The Archangel St. Michael finally gave the exact date of the future “D” day (The Miracle) to Conchita alone. She would eventually say to Maria Herrero de Gallardo of Santandar. That “ by the year 2000, everything will be near”. “GARABANDAL” by J. Serre pg.163
4 world famous Saints supported Conchita ! St. Padre Pio St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta St. Pope John Paul II St. Pope Paul VI I can’t think of another Marian apparition that a Visionary had such credible public support and defense of her visions in ecstasy. In addition to her 4 years of visits by our Blessed Mother, she also received several Locutions from Jesus himself ! Not to mention her life spent in quiet ,spiritual, humility, another great example of a true Visionary. ** A Locution is an audible message only heard by the person (but it is not accompanied by a vision).
SUN IN SHAPE OF A CROSS SEEN AT GARABANDAL On June 13,1978 at approximately 5 :30pm, A group of pilgrims from Great Britain were praying at the grove of Pine trees, and all of a sudden one of them said “ Look at the Sun ! “ 32 of the pilgrims observed the Sun in the shape of a cross while others saw it turn into a silver disk which spun rapidly, others saw it change into different colors such as blue and green, sometimes within another circle. Fr. Benac collected signed testimonies of many of the witnesses. “NEEDLES” magazine October – December 1978 Issue , page 25 * Sorry picture wont load, too large, pic available on fb page)
A prayer card with a message and signed by Jacinta. The card was gifted to me from a friend. "We have to sacrifice a lot for Christ, let's think that he shed his last drop of blood for us and what do we do for him? Let's think about it seriously". Jacinta. sorry again, picture won't load.

“The Devil & Garabandal” -An interview with Fr. Robert Lewis. “Needles” Magazine, January - March 1978, page 12 Fr.Robert Lewis s an exorcist priest who works at St. Jude’s in Pakshikere,India Interesting quotes from Fr. Lewis : “For quite some time, the possessed persons at the Shrine have been making direct references to Garabandal, showing their anger because many souls are snatched from satan’s clutches, because the spreading of the message “. “The name of Mary is so powerful that Lucifer himself begs the exorcist never to mention it ,confessing with shrieks and shouts that is was she who crushed his head “. St. Michael: After the names of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, there is none more terrible to demons that St. Michael ! “ We hate him” shouts Lucifer. “ Why did he dislodge me from my place in Heaven and thrust me down to hell ? He is everywhere to defeat my hosts”. Below: Joey Lomangino and Fr. Robert Lewis

JACINTA & ( SAINT ) MOTHER TERESA, JANUARY 19,1992 In January 1992, Mother Teresa invited Jacinta to come see her. She was then recovering from a serious illness in her noviciate of Tijuanna (Mexico), only a few hours away from the visionary's home at Pasadena (California, U.S.A.).Jacinta thus made the trip on January 19, 1992, on the eve of the Feast of St. Sebastian. The religious Sister enthusiastically presented her to her community: "Here is Jacinta of Garabandal. Garabandal is authentic!" Then, before everybody, she expressed her keen interest for the works and research done on the "events," even inquiring about the new Bishop, Msgr. Vilaplana. Mother Teresa then asked the visionary to pray for her Institute for, she said, "You have only one house, I have dozens of them to take care of." The famous Foundress, who had already met Jacinta in New York, recalled with her many of the graces received by the visionary, notably the one of seeing the Sacred Heart, for Whom Mother Teresa had a great devotion. Her death, which occurred on September 5, 1997, just a few weeks after having met for the last time, in New York, with Conchita, was to arouse an immense chorus of praise and true admiration. JANUARY 20, 1971 : From "Our Lady comes to Garabandal", Fr. Joseph A. Pelletier, pages 223-224 “Reflect on this. If something is God’s work, he will see that it triumphs in the best way, over all obstacles. It is God who does everything. Sometimes he acts through us, but he can also bypass us to perform great miracles and prodigies. What we should do is sacrifice ourselves, be faithful in prayer and in the recitation of the holy rosary, and visit the Blessed Sacrament often. Each day, withdraw from yourself and the world so that you may be alone with God. He wants to speak to you and tell you the path you should follow and what you should do. Invoke frequently the Holy Spirit and Saint Michael.” In union of prayer, Conchita Gonzalez
