I am part of the group doing the consecration on May 13th (see here for the thread started by PS) But I am posting this idea separately for those who are not part of that on-going preparation. The latest Luz de Maria message (May 8th) , which isn't translated yet, has a request for a global chain of prayers of the Rosary on May 13th. Now I know that many here don't believe in those messages, and so be it. But a global rosary & consecration is a brilliant idea. Can we get the word out to parishes, and other places? We don't need to cite Luz de Maria obviously, but Fatima, since that is the relevance of May 13th. On Friday we enter the 100th year since Fatima and if millions said the rosary on the same day, what graces for our families, towns, countries & the world. There is a thread here with consecration resources. Just a simple prayer from the heart, offering ourselves & our families to Our Lady is all it takes.
Andree, if you mean the Cardinal Burke global Rosary, I am also signed up for the 1st of the Month. I am also preparing for reconsecration to Jesus Sacred Heart through Mary Immaculate Heart on 13th May this year. I will try and remember to offer Rosary on 13th as you mention. As you say, it does not matter if we believe Luz de Maria is genuine or not. The Rosary is always perfect as a means of petitioning for the graces we need.

I failed at the consecration preparation. Life has been crazy lately!! . Can I still consecrate myself on the 13th and exactly what do I do?
Yes of course, you can consecrate yourself anytime! There are many formal prayers out there, and I think that the above link has resources, but just a simple statement from one's heart will do. I know a woman who spent years in New Age who says that her unborn daughter was protected from harm from her occult practices because, while pregnant, she offered the child to Mary with a simple prayer while lighting a votive in a church: "Holy Mary, this child is yours, I offer her to you." I like this prayer of consecration: Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, and tender Mother of all people, I consecrate myself to you and to your Immaculate Heart, and recommend to you my family, my country, and the whole human race. Please accept my consecration, dearest Mother, and use me as you wish to accomplish your designs upon the world. O Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of Heaven and Earth, rule over me and teach me how to allow the Heart of Jesus to rule and triumph in me and around me, as It has ruled and triumphed in you. Amen. I always find these things out after the fact! Is there another global Rosary planned for an upcoming date? I love this idea.
Cardinal Burke has called the whole world to join him in a Rosary on the First of every Month for this year of Mercy. I did not hear of it by December 2015; but signed up for it as soon as I heard. Join in from now on Yellowcoffeecup. All I do is remember Cardinal Burke's intentions on the first day of each month, and they are for all the problems affecting us in our day, both inside and outside the Church. I think it has been linked some where on this Forum. The Cardinal offers Holy Mass especially for the intentions of us all on the First of the Month. I understand there are about 40,000 signed up and in a world with over one billion Catholics that is just a few. And I think the good Cardinal is praying we will have a momentous grace from Heaven like at the battle of Lepanto when Our Lady rescued the Christian world in 1510.

To whom this may concern; Last month my mom and I signed up for the global rosary and entered our most urgent prayers in the intention box given. Today a prayer was answered for me and my mom. My sister has been addicted to drugs (bad) for 10 years, hasn't received communion for 10 years, hasn't been to confession for 10 years. This morning at Mass, mary showed up out of nowhere, sad, and told my mom She wanted to go to confession. It is an answer to our prayers, because that is more than we could have asked to start her on her way to healing her dark soul. I will continue to pray for her. As I will bind everyone's intentions with my own today. Thank you everyone!

Several months ago I signed up to Cardinal Burke's Fatima Rosary crusade and sent in my prayer intention, which was for conversions among the staff (teachers) and students of my son's school (a school ostensibly run by a religious order but only nominally Catholic in practice). I recently learned that one of the teachers appears to have had a fairly dramatic conversion after being blessed with a relic of St Padre Pio. She has apparently become very devoted to the rosary, has helped to initiate a weekly Fatima rosary in the school with another devout teacher, and (according to my son) has begun talking to the kids about prayer and giving out rosary beads. I consider this to be a fairly significant answer to prayer, so I thought I would share it and ask for your prayers that this teacher will continue to grow in her faith and be a good influence on others.
