I remember not so long ago my elder brother came to , very happy telling me that there was no hell. That this was something we no longer had to worry about that we are all going to heaven. Surprised I asked him how he knew this he told me Pope Francis had said so. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-43596919 I told him that the Pope Was very much mistaken that he should check out Scripture and the Churches Teachings and that a Pope cannot change this. Happily he had great trust in me and has now a very healthy distrust of the Holy Fathers various pronouncements. But this is such a great example of how we as Catholics need deeper and deeper grounding in Our Faith. The only problem being where will we get it? I found as I was saying the Rosary I was getting deeper and deeper understanding of Our Catholic Faith. Moreover I found this was not random but systematic. For in the first instance I was getting huge lights on the Mystery of the Blessed Trinity and moving on from there. I think a good example of such Infused Knowledge if in the Visitation when we see Mary and Elizabeth sparking off each other with such knowledge. In the Magnificat in particular.
I think we'll get to see this Gift more and more in the Church through the Blessed Rosary. So when the poor Sheep, for instance seeing the Shepherds Worshipping Idols, they will be able to know not only that it is wrong, but they will be able to say in articulate fashion just why it is wrong.
