I wouldn't say that history ends here, in our time. But these are unique times in many ways, and they are certainly the end of something. If you look around, you can see that everything seems to be accelerating, like a washing machine: it starts spinning slowly, but as the cycle approaches its end, the spin gets faster and faster. Just look at how much the world has changed technologically in only the last twenty years. Around fifty years ago, some places in Ireland still didn't have electricity. Today, only a few remote rural areas in Africa remain without it, and they are gradually being connected as well. More than seven billion people now use mobile phones. We have the internet, extraordinary advances in medicine, and technologies that previous generations could hardly have imagined. Never before in history have we experienced such a collapse in birth rates. We have had diseases and wars that killed millions, but the number of children being born always remained high. Now we are facing a demographic time bomb: China alone is expected to lose around ten million people per year, while Europe could lose around five million annually. There has also never been such a widespread decline in religious belief. There were religious wars and there were heresies, but people still believed in the supernatural. Today we see moral decadence, the sexualization of society, sexual disorders, the justification of evil, and a growing dehumanization of the family, sex, gender, and human relationships. If I asked you whether the world and your own life felt slower and less stressful around the year 2000, I believe you would answer immediately that they did. That doesn't mean there were no problems—there were economic difficulties and personal struggles just as there are today, but society felt more normal and slower. It is difficult to describe the world, but it feels strange like when you first notice the symptoms of a cold and know it will fully hit in a few days. My position remains clear: I believe communism comes from them their elites and that they are pursuing global rule without any doubt. Their goal, in my view, is to undermine other peoples ethnically, religiously, economically, morally, and demographically. Yet even their plan, this return to where they once were, fits into a larger pattern, just as Judas' betrayal had to happen at that particular time, in that particular place, and through his own free decision. God's plan encompassed that choice and incorporated it into the plan of salvation. I believe there is a reason why, in our own time, the Holy Spirit has allowed such extraordinary technological, medical, and economic progress. There is a reason why, after two thousand years of dispersion, they have returned to that land under the leadership of their elites. There is a reason why the Middle East has once again become the center of world events, and why oil was discovered there, further increasing the region's global importance. Even if you look at the history of the Church, from the very beginning there were heresies, but there was also the work of the Holy Spirit. The first Christians did not possess even five percent of what we have today in terms of doctrinal clarity. The fullness of truth has unfolded over time, just as Jesus said it would. Today Christians profess doctrines such as Jesus Christ being true God and true man, the dogma of the Immaculate Conception, Mary as the Mother of God (Theotokos), the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, along with many other dogmas that have been defined throughout the history of the Church. We are living in a time when East and West are coming together, when the global economy is interconnected, and when, through social media, the world's moral outlook is also becoming "unified" in an unusual way through online influence and, more broadly, through a shared culture of life. Everything is accessible, yet the fundamental questions of common sense about life and the very definition of what it means to be human have never been more challenged. The same is true of the family, parenthood, and children. Everything seems to be moving toward a culmination. I believe this is also reflected in the Marian apparitions, which became more numerous over the last few centuries. Yet, following the Second Vatican Council and especially since the 1970s, there appears to have been a decline—not only in reported apparitions, but also, one could say, in the number of saints or holy individuals recognized for possessing extraordinary spiritual gifts at least externally.
I'm not sure where I read it, but it's in my mind that Jesus said to a "visionary / mystic" that sin has to exhaust itself.
The year 2000 was a watershed year. In Ireland before that year murder was rare. We had the troubles in N. irl and the political turmoil and deaths associated with it but throughout the country murder was very rare. We upheld the right to life but there was huge pressure starting to be exerted. We now have murders happening every week. We can't keep up with them.
I was walking along the road yesterday evening praying the rosary. Looking around me I can see for miles across the canyon and can see the mountains of Leon they tell me some 50 miles away. It is so quiet sometimes I fear my hearing has gone wrong. To meet another human being in these walks is very rare. It occurred to me last night that it is as though I am on a Religious Retreat but a Retreat that never ends. In the history of the Church we can see she was often a pilgrim. For instance after the Great Persecution of the Church under King Herod we are told the entire Christian community fled. Our Blessed Lady and St John had earlier had to flee to Ephesus. After the cessation of the persecution of the Roman Emperors countless Christians such as St Benedict and St Anthony the Great fled to the deserts for quiet. I believe in our own times we will more and more see Catholics fleeing to refuges as what we call civilisation falling apart. It is not the people themselves but Judaism that is the problem. The Jewish religion had become terribly corrupted by the time of the Incarnation, which is why so much of the Gospels are taken up with Our Lord’s confrontations with the Pharisees who were the predecessors of the Rabbis who took over after 70AD. Much of the Old Testament features the words of the Prophets resisting the developing pharisaism. This Talmudic religion which the Pharisees introduced is a man-made parody and rejection of the Divine Law that was handed to Moses. The decline is traceable to the fall of the First Temple. Ironically, many Jews are now atheists but are still content to follow the hateful precepts propagated by the Rabbis. There is still a very small sect of Jews who continue to follow the Laws of Moses and who reject the entirely uninspired Talmudic tradition. This group alone are the only Jews deserving of the title ‘our elder brothers in Faith’, which is so foolishly uttered by many in The Church with respect to the Talmudists, who profess a religion with very little in common with either Christianity or Mosaic Judaism. Let us pray for the Jews that they may turn to Christ and return to Moses.
Reminds me of the parable of the swept house. Where vices typically go hand in hand spurred on by dark forces. They can pilpul and play games with scripture to justify their lusts all day long. But reality is reality and ultimately there is a price to pay for it all no matter how many games are played. Doesn't matter which religion or belief system, gravity is gravity and a false step leads to a fall.
It is strange being able to talk freely about this subject freely. The word , 'anti semitic', is so powerful. The attack is very coordinated - on many levels. They are so, so slick.... Our government are the chief protagonists. They flood us with male migrants but blame one other (within the political system) for it happening - when in fact practically all of these politicians support it and many of them earn big money from it. When ordinary people protest in the streets we are met with violence from the Gardai (police). NGO's organise counter demonstrations. And the press blame the original protesters should it descend into violence. Should you book a hall or a space to discuss the influx of migrants - or just to initiate community debate around how things are within Irish society, they put pressure on the hotel, community centre, venue, hosting the event to cancel - by labelling such events as far right. The invaders maul us: rape, steal, stab and murder - you name it; they're doing it. The judiciary are complicit in handing out miniscule justice for often heinous crimes. And the press cover it all up. Meanwhile, they're recruiting them into all manner of society, often without proper diligence. For example, some doctors and nurses are employed with fake qualifications and have often been caught out. They employ them as bus drivers and they're crashing buses left, right and centre - often hurting people. These examples are but a snapshot of what's going on. Its never ending... The leftys among us do not ask where these people will be living in 2, 3 or 5 years time when the Irish taxpayer (already taxed to the hilt) can no longer afford the hotel and free-money-for-migrants, bill. Then there is abortion. The attack on marriage. The trans carryon: a teacher was recently sent to prison, fined, denigated in the press, bankrupted etc for not calling a boy a girl. Then his sister and mother were also sent to prison for defending him (look up the Burke Family, Enoch Burke. They are true Christian warriors. Ferocious. Fearless. But persecuted by our government). Our politicians will be tried for treason. Be it in this world or the next. I pray for them, but in their arrogance they do not comprehend that justice one day they will see. St Patrick has been all but deserted by we Irish. Many have lost the faith. Few bother anymore. Many openly mock!! I fear St Patrick and Our Lord both have left us to it, given our rejection of them.. I fully expect that a punishment will be visited upon Ireland for our complete rejection of the faith. The Jews are very skilled at twisting language. They are trying to convince everyone, with no little success, that to criticise them or to disagree with them is somehow ‘racist’ (= antisemitism). However, the issue is not biological at all, it is ideological. Jews are no morally better or worse than anybody else, but the Talmudic Judaism that has influenced the thinking of most of them for up to two-and-a-half millennia has led them into a position of despising and hating the rest of the human race-as pointed out by St Paul. This is a passive-aggressive form of tyranny. To explain what I mean: there are several videos from the UK illustrating this. I believe you've seen at least the one where a young man was attacked in front of two police vehicles and a police officer. I'm including the video for context... The broader pattern has been visible in the West for quite some time. I used to describe it through the analogy of parents with two children: they allow one child to do whatever they want, while being strict and punitive toward the other. According to this perspective, a repressive and totalitarian system is applied to the native population, traditional values, and established social norms. Examples often include the arrests of people praying the rosary, the arrests of peaceful protesters, censorship, and hate speech prosecutions for online comments. On the other hand, there is what is seen as a passive response to crimes such as rape, violent crime, murder, and violations of the law related to illegal entry into the country. From this viewpoint, this reflects an ideological approach, Western governments are considered highly effective at suppressing dissent, yet ineffective when dealing with issues that genuinely undermine their culture and the state. This points to a coordinated agenda directed by powerful interests at the highest levels. Politicians are merely hired hands, The police, like teachers, are trained through the education system to act in certain ways. They are conditioned much like in Pavlov's experiment with the dog: every time the bell rang, the dog responded in anticipation of a reward. Likewise, people are conditioned so that, through state institutions—which are necessary for maintaining social order and providing education—they end up contributing to the erosion of society from within, while receiving praise and rewards for doing so. When you look at it, the psychology behind it is very basic, but it is applied within highly complex systems and institutions, where people tend to focus only on procedures rather than the broader consequences. In my view, this is how modern censorship has been established. Whenever a debate arises, accusations such as racism are introduced to discredit someone. People then back away, and the label itself becomes a form of censorship, affecting a person's professional life, family life, and financial well-being. From that point on, whatever the person says is associated with that negative label. In other words, they are marked—even if all they say is that two plus two equals four. That is why I say that freedom in the West, including freedom of speech, has become little more than words on paper, because the rules themselves have been turned upside down.
