I don't think this weather captures how heavy and windy it was in Knock yesterday. There was a real feeling of closeness to Our Lady which I have not had for years.

God Bless them - offering their prayers and penance together.

Well done to all involved. You are real prayer warriors. Yesterday was a really wet and miserable day countrywide.

One in eight Irish babies were aborted last year (2021).

More than 6,700 women had an abortion via their GP last year, new official figures indicate, but when the numbers from hospitals are included, plus the number still going to England and Wales, the figure easily exceeds 7,000.

The total of 6,700 alone is the highest figure since the 2018 referendum that repealed the 8th amendment. In 2019 and 2020, the figures were 6,666 and 6,577.

For some, it has become an anti-sacrament. They seem to want to kill them, to sacrifice them. To whom is the question.

I read it as the introduction of the full LGBT propaganda agenda, under the hypocritical pretense of 'protecting' children from pornography.

God help our children, nowadays, between our killing them and our abusing them.

What precisely did the priest say, that was so 'offensive'?

Edit: just read that he said, 1). Free condoms would promote promiscuity; 2). Homosexual and lesbian sex are sinful; 3). Transgenderism is sinful.

This is the teaching of the Church for as long as She has existed. For this, the priest is castigated and the bishop apologises.

What kind of 'catholics' are these?

See his sermon on twitter above. But in a nutshell he said sin was everywhere and called people back to God. Condemned abortion; trans; same sex couples; HSE handing out condems to young people in Tralee promoting promiscuity. People walked out of the Church and he remarked 'God help you'. Nothing that would upset a real catholic
