I believe that I heard that the pope's plan is to have another meeting/synod in May to further explain synodality, I am not certain about the specifics though because I think that the statement was vague.
Padraig I read the Moynihan Report and it would be an understatement to say I was gobsmacked. This action by the Pope is, dare I say it, akin to the kiss of Judas. If they are the Byzantine Catholic Patriarchate (and I think they are) they are not in any kind of Communion with Rome but have been officially excommunicated. In 2009 they split from the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church which is in communion with Rome.
