Last summer, I posted a thread commenting on the BLM & Antifa attacks on churches and pointing out how the Left seems to be targeting Our Blessed Mother more and more. Now everyone on here knows that I really love Our Lady and thus, get really angry when She is attacked. Yet when the Left and the powers-that-should-not-be attack Our Lady, I sometimes have this feeling of vindication about it, this feeling of “yes! they know Who to be afraid of. They know Who will overthrow their regimes and plans and crush it all under Her foot!” Is it right to have feelings like this?
I understand what you mean. I had that thought immediately when I learned of the horror movie coming soon trying to frighten people away from praying to Mary. I thought, man, Satan's terrified. He knows she's coming.
You are not wrong. You trust Our Lady and you wait for her Triumph over satan. What could be wrong about that? I suspect that what you call vindication really is an inner sense of 'rightness', that this chaos does have a resolution. If we didn't have hope that The Woman would crush the serpent, how could we survive the present times?
Can relate, especially as regards adults of certain age and level of intelligence, especially if they participated in violence against others and/or property (summer 2020 and otherwise) ... who, for whatever reason, still can't see through the machinations/manipulations of certain evil political entities. Example: I see a quote of Hillary Clinton's today that people who question the 2020 election results are doing Putin's work. Apparently SHE was doing Putin's work from all of 2017, 2018, 2019, and to November 2020. Adults still blind to such blatant weaseling and conniving deserve the consequences.
Yeah I had pretty much the same reaction when I heard about that movie. I thought I should be furious about Our Lady literally being demonized but, like you said, it’s quite obvious that the one behind this is terrified and knows that his time is short.
